‘Hocus Pocus’ witch Bette Midler and fellow members of liberal Hollywood elite celebrated the decision in former President Donald Trump’s civil trial.
A federal jury in New York City found that Trump was not liable for the alleged rape of advice columnist E. Jean Carroll on Tuesday morning, but did find him at fault for sexual abuse and defamation.
He was ordered to pay Carroll $5 million in damages, which Midler said was “a solid win for E. Jean.”
“The GOP is proud to present our candidate for the highest office in the land,” she began in an unhinged rant.
#TRUMP, formerly Donald J Drumpf, must pay #EJeanCarroll $5million for sexual abuse and defamation. A solid win for E Jean.

“Former president, registered sex offender, convicted felon of 17 counts of tax fraud,” she listed.
“And under investigation for treason and theft of top secret government documents.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, the twice impeached 4 time bankrupt, p—y grabber himself, Donald J. Trump,” Midler concluded.

“Stand By Me” director Rob Reiner criticized the GOP for being represented in the 2024 election by Trump.

“Donald Trump can now add “Sexual Predator” to his resume,” horror author Stephen King snarked.
Trump furiously rebuked the jury’s decision and said that he’d appeal after being “treated very badly by the Clinton-appointed judge.”
“I have absolutely no idea who this woman is,” he posted on Truth Social. “This verdict is a disgrace – a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time!”

Carroll, 79, accused Trump of raping her in a high-end Manhattan department store dressing room in 1996, which he said was an accusation fabricated to inflate sales of her book.
Carroll slapped Trump with a defamation suit for the retaliatory remarks.
After the verdict came in, Trump’s campaign said that legal jurisdictions in liberal states have been “compromised by extremist left-wing politics.”
“Make no mistake, this entire bogus case is a political endeavor targeting President Trump because he is now an overwhelming front-runner to be once again elected President of the United States,” the statement read.
“Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi posted that she was “savoring this little bit of justice on a Tuesday afternoon.”
She has more courage than Kevin McCarthy and the rest of those sycophantic GOP lawmakers #justice

“Sexual assault survivors are so rarely believed, validated, or given any semblance of justice,” she added in a follow-up. “This is a win for us all.”
Many liberal celebrities celebrated Carroll for the “courage” it took to go after Trump.
