18-year-old Eman Hussan grinned like a villain as he was perped walk by police for murdering and eating a town-owned swan on Memorial Day weekend.
A trio of teenagers reportedly went “duck” hunting at a protected pond swan in upstate New York at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday.
They hopped the fence of the Manlius Swan Pond, which has been the township provided home for the majestic birds since 1905, and attacked a nesting mother.
The prized town swan in question, Faye, was held down by the three teens while they brutally decapitated her with a knife.

Manlius Police Sgt. Ken Hatter told reporters that the typically combative bird didn’t fight back because she was caring for her four baby cygnets.
After savaging the Faye, the three teens aged 16-18, stole the four baby swans and took off with the mother’s carcass.
According to NBC News, they brought the bird’s body to one of their aunt’s houses the same day, where it was cooked and consumed by the family.
The baby cygnets actually led the police to their mother’s killers, when someone from the saw two of the baby swans at a store in a neighboring town.
When the police arrived, the teen in possession of the birds, who was working at the store, confessed to snatching the cygnets to raise as pets, rather than dinner.
Hatter claimed that the teens unaware that they had killed a protected swan, who they thought was “just a very large duck.”
The four cygnets were recovered by police and have been placed with a biologist who cares for Manilus’ swans.
The baby birds will be raised at the pond together after the removal of their father, Manny, from the area.
Manilus Mayor Paul Whorrall said that Manny will be relocated in the fear that he could be “combative” over the loss of his mate, who he would have bonded with monogamously for life.

“We will let the four cygnets grow up, and we are hoping that two of those cygnets will mate, and then we will be back to the way it used to be,” Whorrall remarked.
The town plans to add surveillance cameras and other security measures to protect future generations of the swans that have been part of Manilus’ identity since 1905.
“This is not ending. We will continue to have swans and hopefully, at some point get back to normal,” Whorrall reassured.
“We’ve had swans for over 100 years. We’re going to continue to have swans. It’s part of this village.”
The teenagers were arrested on Tuesday on charges of “grand larceny in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, conspiracy in the fifth degree and criminal trespassing in the third degree,” according to CNN.
Hunting swans is illegal in New York, and Manilus is one of the only “entities” in the state that “has a permit to have them housed, maintained, owned, and transport, and they cannot be removed from their location legally.”
Hussan’s court date is scheduled for June 15. Twitter wasn’t thrilled about his smiling perp walk.
“He looks very pleased with all this attention,” someone noted.
“He knows he will suffer zero consequences,” another added. “His behavior is an enrichment to our culture.”
While one person pointed out that Hussan was an immigrant and cultural differences were an excuse for his criminal mischief.
“They have not and probably will not assimilate to the American way of life so I hope anyone didn’t expect any different,” that person said. “They will do here what they did in their home countries.”
“He’s loving this. We are letting millions of folks into the country who clearly just don’t get it,” someone else snapped.
One person believes justice will be served. “Don’t f–k with the Manilus Swans,” they wrote. “You’ll end up having a bad time”.
