Celebrities reacted to the release of former President Donald Trump’s mugshot following his arrest in Georgia on Thursday.
Trump returned to X – the artist known as Twitter – later that night to share the photo that was taken after he turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail.
In the picture, he stonily glared into the the camera with his shoulders squared and head tilted down defiantly.
His blue suit, red tie, and white shirt a stark contrast against the dreary gray background.

The caption of his first tweet since being suspended from Twitter in January 2021, read: “Election interference, never surrender!”
The post included a hyperlink to to his website, DonaldJTrump.com, which directs viewers to a fundraising landing page for his 2024 campaign.
“Today, at the notoriously violent jail in Fulton County, Georgia, I was arrested despite having committed no crime,” he wrote above his mugshot.
“The American people know what’s going on,” Trump continued. “What has taken place is a travesty of justice and ELECTION INTERFERENCE.”
He told supporters, who have the options of donating in the numerically relevant increments of 24 and 47 dollars, that “the Left” wants to intimidate them from voting for a “political outsider” that puts Americans first.
“But today, I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,” the statement went on.

Trump only asked for donations from people who could afford it, and said if they were “doing poorly due to the sinister people in control” of the country, that they shouldn’t “even think about donating” to his campaign.
He encouraged those who could to “make a contribution to evict Crooked Joe Biden from the White House and SAVE AMERICA during this dark chapter in our nation’s history.”
Trump’s tweet has gone viral with nearly 50 million views since he posted at 8:38 p.m., and Hollywood had plenty to say about his stony stare.

“Sometimes, an image appears that you know will be one history will long remember,” wrote veteran journalist Dan Rather.
“Trump’s mugshot is one of those. It is menacing, foreboding, and speaks to a future that is, as of now, unpredictable.”

Stand By Me director Rob Reiner reacted to the weight Trump reported during his booking.

Two And A Half Men star Jon Cryer said that there could be a “possible upside” for the Dems.

Comedian Rosanne Barr had the complete opposite take as the rest of Hollywood. “Trump’s mugshot is so hot!” she posted.
