Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy blasted President Joe Biden for seeking reelection despite his “cognitive disabilities.”
Portnoy made the remarks during an appearance on Fox Business’ “Varney & Company.”
He initially labeled Biden as the country’s “99-year-old president,” but was corrected by host Stuart Varney when he asked if Portnoy if he approved of “our 81-year- old president.”
Varney was shocked by his blunt response: “Well, no, he’s a walking vegetable,” the Bar Stool president shot back.

“And that has nothing to do with being Republican [or] Democrat. But when you need help walking off a stage after you give a speech, it’s probably time to call it quits,” he stated frankly.
Biden was mercilessly mocked by social media for needing to be led off stage by first lady Jill Biden after his speech on the anniversary of January 6.
Near the end of his speech in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, White House staffers seemingly tried to avoid the president’s tendency to get lost on his way off the stage by employing his wife to guide him.
In a clip shared by RNC Research’s X, formerly Twitter account, the first lady hustled onto the podium as Biden was wrapping the speech up and led him backstage by the hand as he stiffly followed behind her.
“Jill, Ed.D., escorts Biden off the stage following his remarks,” the account captioned the video.
“Thank goodness that Jill Biden is there to lead Joe off stage,” the TownHall.com account snarked.

“Someone had to do it,” added editor Karen Townsend.
To Portnoy, the move was a clear signal that Biden shouldn’t be running the country.
“If you were running a company, Stuart, and you cared about the bottom line and making money,” he went on.
“You would not put somebody who clearly has cognitive disabilities in charge of your company,” the “One Bite Pizza” reviewer acknowledged.
“Again, it’s old, it’s sad, but it is insane that somebody who is clearly impaired is the President of the United States.”
Portnoy doubled down when Varney asked if Biden had the capacity to run the country for another term.
“Well, no, he’s not capable to be a president for another 20 seconds,” he shot back. “But the issue is there are people who are pulling strings behind him, clearly, who are making the decisions.”
The Barstool Sports owner noted that the people who are “pulling” Biden’s strings want him to stay in office.
“They have the power and they don’t want to give it up,” he continued. “But there’s absolutely no way he should be president… It’s a disgrace he’s going to run again.”
“The man cannot find his way off a stage,” he added. “He’s like a blabbering old uncle. You don’t even know what he’s talking about half the time.”
When asked about the possibility of former President Donald Trump retaking the Oval Office, Portnoy said that he wouldn’t be his “first pick.”
“And that’s primarily because … I think he’s intentionally decisive,” he noted, adding that despite his own “rough exterior,” he wants “to bring the country together.”
“I think he’s vindictive like I am,” Portnoy stated. “Which is fine, when you’re running a media company, but when you’re president, you do have to build relationships.”
If Trump does get reelected, he has hope that “the country can move together as one,” but doesn’t “know how realistic that is.”
“He’s a lightning rod, fair or unfair, he breaks people’s brains,” Portnoy concluded about the 45th president. “They get so caught up in how much they hate him … they can’t see reality.
