“The View” moderator Whoopi Goldberg melted down over the Supreme Court’s decision to rule on former President Donald Trump’s immunity case.
Goldberg hysterically claimed that President Joe Biden could “throw every Republican in jail” if the nation’s highest court rules in Trump’s favor.
“Let’s look at a scenario where the Supreme Court says yes, he has all those rights,” she offered up on Friday’s episode of the show.
“He is immune from everything,” Goldberg insisted. “You know what Joe Biden could do since he is presently president?”
“He could throw every Republican in jail,” she said with a dramatic pause. “I mean, he could.”

“What this means is he could do anything. He could dismiss everybody’s debt,” she added.
“You know, there’s a whole bunch of great stuff that could happen. But let’s really look at what this means.”
Co-host Joy Behar interrupted to add that the Supreme Court was “basically kicking the can down the road,” by “not taking up this case immediately,” despite hearing opening arguments on April 22.
“So what’s their motivation then if we all know that they can’t do what you just said because of the extreme power that the president would have,” she questioned.
“What is their motivation for not doing it right away?”
Legal analyst Sunny Hostin chimed in to insist that the majority conservative justices “want to help” Trump avoid being tried by Special Counsel Jack Smith prior to the November election.
“Because we know the end result is — if this case is not resolved by the time of the election and he God forbid becomes the President of the United States — the Justice Department policy is that you can’t indict nor put on trial a sitting president, right?” She remarked.
“And so it’s his get out of jail free — but it’s his get out of jail free card.”
Goldberg claimed that Biden could “throw” Trump in jail in the interim.
Hostin insisted that SCOTUS could work quickly if they wanted to, referencing the 2000 presidential election, when Democratic contender Al Gore questioned votes for former President George W. Bush in Florida.
“The Bush v. Gore case happened real quick,” she noted. “The Supreme Court knows how to work real fast.”
“That’s was the day democracy died,” Behar interjected.
“Well … it was certainly an injustice to many people,” Hostin remarked.
During Thursday’s episode, Goldberg claimed that SCOTUS was “showing favoritism” to Trump by agreeing to take on the case at all.
Hostin disagreed and noted that “He gets due process of law just like all of us.”
Whoopi is SO IGNORANT.
She argues that the Supreme Court shouldn't hear Trump's case because lower courts have already issued rulings: "There is no reason for them to actually take this case, because the two lower courts said, 'Listen, this is what it is.'"

She said that if the Supreme Court ended up ruling that Trump did not have presidential immunity, the ex-president would not be able to appeal if he was convicted.
“I think that’s maybe why they took it,” Hostin put forward.
Goldberg said that either way, it’s “a bad look ” for the Supreme Court.
“Because this – you know — in some of their other rulings, which I’ve wondered about, you know, people say ‘Well, we don’t want it to look like we’re showing favoritism, so we’re looking at this in a very deep way,” she stated.
“And suddenly, now, it doesn’t feel like they’re looking at it in a deep way,” the Ghost star added.
Goldberg also feels like the Supreme Court is trying to “help” the former president by agreeing to his request.
“There is no reason for them to actually take this case,” she claimed.
Goldberg argued that the nation’s highest court doesn’t need to weigh in on the proceeding, because two lower courts had already passed their judgement.
“The two lower courts said, ‘Listen, this is what it is,’” she concluded.
“And so if they were to turn against what the two lower courts thought, I think it’s very bad for them.”
