Far-left Hollywood stars are alleging that former President Donald Trump plans to eliminate elections if he returns to office.
This claim stems from a speech he made on Friday, where he encouraged Christians to vote in large numbers this November.
However, there was plenty of context cut from the 27-second video clip they’re losing their minds about.
During his speech at the Turning Point Action’s Believers’ Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump stated, “Four years, it will be fixed, it will be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore. In four years, you won’t have to vote again.”
There it is! Donald Trump told a gathering of Christians that if they voted for him this time, he’d fix it so they’d never have to vote again. He point blank said he will destroy our Democracy. Keep 250 years of Self Rule alive. VOTE KAMALA!!!

Celebrities have stoked fear by alleging that the context-less quote means that Trump wants to ban future elections.
What he was actually doing was urging Republican voters to come out to the polls in en masse, which he believes would make it impossible to rig the election results.
By electing him, Trump argues, his administration could reform election laws, including implementing voter ID requirements.
Here it is America. We are warned. This guy and his inner circle intend to seize power -and keep it. Say a clear ‘ NO’ with your vote 🇺🇸 https://t.co/5vLXUsnPVm

These changes, he claims, would in turn reduce the necessity for future landslide wins to thwart potential voter fraud.
Ultra-liberal celebrities including Barbra Streisand, Mia Farrow, and Rob Reiner have spread the misinformation to their millions of social media followers.
On Saturday, Streisand shared a New York Times article titled “Trump Tells Christians ‘You Won’t Have to Vote Anymore’ If He’s Elected.”
The same day, Farrow shared the truncated clip, along with a foreboding message to fellow liberals.
“Here it is America. We are warned. This guy and his inner circle intend to seize power -and keep it,” the “Rosemary’s Baby” star wrote. “Say a clear ‘NO’ with your vote [America].
“Stand By Me” director Rob Reiner echoed Farrow’s sentiment with hysterical alarm.
“There it is! Donald Trump told a gathering of Christians that if they voted for him this time, he’d fix it so they’d never have to vote again,” he posted.
“He point blank said he will destroy our Democracy. Keep 250 years of Self Rule alive. VOTE KAMALA!!!”
In addition to the New York Times, an article claiming that Trump told Christian supporters that he will stop future elections if he retakes the White House was published by The Atlantic.
“Trump’s remarks represent an extraordinary departure from democratic norms in the United States—rarely if ever has a major party’s presidential candidate directly stated his aim to make elections meaningless, a notorious hallmark of autocracy,” writer Brian Klass penned.
He said that there were “two ways” that Trump’s statement could be interpreted.
In Klass’s first scenario, Trump was “implying that there won’t be any future elections if he comes to power.”
The journalist posited that Trump could liken himself to Chinese dictator Xi Jinping, who has said he would remain the country’s “president for life.”
In Klass’s “more charitable interpretation” of the speech, Trump insinuated that his next administration would put so many pro-Christian policies in place, that “no future election could realistically undo his transformation of the country.”
“Both interpretations lead to the same conclusion: that Trump is telegraphing his authoritarian intentions in plain sight, hoping to sever the link between voters and government policy,” Klass concluded.
In actuality, Trump was rallying Christian voters to go out the the polls in November at a “Believers and Ballots” event.
The part of his speech that was left out of the out of the clip was when Trump spoke about voter ID laws, which would require those who show up to the ballot box to show proof of citizenship to cast a vote.
Trump told the crowd that voter identification is the crucial first step to fixing American voting laws, but anytime he has tried to discuss it with Democrats they shut him down immediately.
The Harris campaign added fuel to the fire by claiming that Trump’s remarks were a “vow to end democracy.”
“When Vice President Harris says this election is about freedom she means it. Our democracy is under assault by criminal Donald Trump,” Harris for President Spokesperson James Singer commented.
“Donald Trump wants to take America backward, to a politics of hate, chaos, and fear – this November America will unite around Vice President Kamala Harris to stop him.”
The Trump campaign clapped back with a statement of their own to clarify his commentary.
“President Trump was talking about the importance of faith, uniting this country and bringing prosperity to every American, as opposed to the divisive political environment that has sowed so much division and even resulted in an assassination attempt,” spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement.
