Former President Donald Trump absolutely trolled Vice President Kamala Harris by making stopping at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania on Sunday while he was on the campaign trail.
“I’m looking for a job,” Trump began in a video he shared on his TikTok page. “And I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s, I never did.”
Serving up fries and manning the drive-thru window, Trump donned an apron and joined the staff in a hands-on experience.
“I’m running against somebody that said she did, but it turned out to be a totally phony story,” he said before greeting cheering fans while serving food. “I’m having a lot of fun here, everybody!”

When asked by a reporter about his preferred menu item, he responded, “I like it all. I like every ounce of it. Everything! But I do like the french fries, where I’ll be working.”
In a jab at Harris, Trump referenced her past statement about working at McDonald’s, working both the cash register and fry station during college.
“I’ve now worked 15 minutes more than Kamala. She never worked here,” he joked to people at the drive-thru.

“I could do this all day. I wouldn’t mind this job. I like this job. I think I might come back and do it again,” he said to restaurant staffers.
The visit attracted a large crowd of Trump supporters near the Feasterville McDonald’s in Bucks County, eager to catch a glimpse of the former president in action.

One customer thanked Trump for making it possible for “ordinary people” like them to meet him, to which Trump modestly replied, “You’re not ordinary.”
Another patron mentioned that they were praying for Trump and viewed him as the ideal candidate for the presidency, with his wife echoing their thanks for his sacrifices.
“Thank you for taking the bullet for us,” she said in reference to Trump’s first assassination attempt over the summer.

A drive-thru customer from Brazil implored Trump not to allow the U.S. to follow their native country’s path, to which Trump confidently assured, “We’re going to make it better than ever.”
Known for his fondness for fast food, Trump praised McDonald’s as an “amazing business” and reiterated his commitment to making America “greater than ever before.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump claimed there’s no evidence of Kamala Harris having worked at the fast food chain.
“We have checked with McDonald’s, and they say, definitively, that there is no record of Lyin’ Kamala Harris ever having worked there,” he said. “In other words, she never worked there, and has lied about this ‘job’ for years.”
“Additionally, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are killing franchises, want to end all franchises, which will destroy values and jobs. Also, remember, from me, No Tax On Tips!” he added.
Harris confirmed she worked at McDonald’s during her college days, handling fries and the cash register, during an April interview with Drew Barrymore.
“Yes, I did work at McDonald’s,” she claimed. “When I was at school… I did fries. I did fries, and then I did the cashier.”
The Washington Free Beacon highlighted her past claim of working at McDonald’s during a labor rally in Las Vegas in 2019 while running for the presidency.
Despite the possibility of Harris’ employment there, the“the absence of that detail in public records and her campaign’s coyness and refusal to provide” additional information has raised questions about the validity of her claim.
On Sunday, Democrat Rep. Barbara Lee (CA) and leftist MSNBC host Alex Witt attacked Trump for his stint at McDonald’s.
MSNBC says working at McDonald’s is bizarre and strange. This is how @KamalaHarris and the elites think of everyday Americans who work everyday jobs.

Witt pondered the reasoning behind the stunt, considering Trump was scheduled to attend a game between the Steelers and Jets that night.
“He’s going to this McDonald’s, and he’s in the Philadelphia area. He’s going to work a fryer, apparently, before he goes to the Steelers versus Jets game,” the liberal television host began.
“If you’re on his campaign, and I know you are certainly not, I’m not making any implication of that. But, what is the logic behind this — going to a McDonald’s?”
Lee dismissed Trump’s visit to the golden arches as a logicless publicity stunt, and claimed Trump was unwell.
“It’s a stunt. He has not put forth an economic agenda,” she spouted. “He, as you know, appears to be not well. And, he’s engaged in some really bizarre types of activities during this campaign.”
“So, this is just another one of those stunts that he will continue on through the campaign, and I think we really need to really focus on making sure that he is not elected of course,” Lee added.
Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) was also critical of Trump’s shift at McDonald’s.
This guy spent decades stiffing workers pay, cut overtime benefits for millions of people, and opposed any effort to raise the minimum wage.
You know who has actually worked at McDonald’s, joined workers on picket lines, and fights for working people? @KamalaHarris. https://t.co/QzFMVLiuaj

“This guy spent decades stiffing workers pay, cut overtime benefits for millions of people, and opposed any effort to raise the minimum wage,” Walz tweeted on Sunday afternoon.
He also refuted the Republican nominee’s claim that the Vice President lied about flipping burgers for the fast food giant.
“You know who has actually worked at McDonald’s, joined workers on picket lines, and fights for working people?” Walz noted, “@KamalaHarris.”
