Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, took aim at outgoing First Lady Jill Biden, likening her to Shakespeare’s cunning and ambitious Lady Macbeth.
Alexandra’s sharp words came in response to Jill’s recent remarks about the Democratic opposition to her husband, President Joe Biden.
Dr. Jill openly questioned Nancy Pelosi’s role in the political dissent with a scathing rebuke.
“If I was Lady McBiden, I’d put on my big girl pants, play the long game and think about my husband’s legacy,” Alexandra snapped during an interview with Politico.

She also noted, “There aren’t that many people left in America who have something nice to say about Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi is one of them.”
Jill, 73, had already cast doubt on her long-standing friendship with Pelosi, 84, in an interview with The Washington Post.
Referring to the Democratic mutiny that purportedly had Pelosi’s backing, she remarked, “We were friends for 50 years.”
She added, “Let’s just say I was disappointed with how it unfolded…I learned a lot about human nature.”
The turmoil within the Democratic Party escalated after Joe Biden faced growing calls to bow out of the presidential race following a shaky debate performance against then Republican nominee Donald Trump in June.
While Pelosi insisted she “never called anybody” during the upheaval, she did hint at Democrats approaching her for guidance.
“A number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought that I was going to hurt them in the races,” Biden explained earlier this year to CBS.
“And I was concerned if I stayed in the race, that would be the topic — you’d be interviewing me about why did Nancy Pelosi say [something].”
Meanwhile, Jill disclosed details of her chat with Trump during a viral moment at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

Jill and the president-elect were spotted sharing a laugh during the cathedral’s reopening, sparking a swirl of speculation.
The First Lady shared with The Washington Post that Trump had said, “I had a good meeting with your husband in the Oval Office.”
Jill went on to joke, “Yes, because you’re both talkers,” a remark she said gently teased both men after Trump mentioned the meeting had lasted two hours.
Trump published a “transcript” of his conversation with Obama at Jimmy Carter’s funeral:
Obama allegedly admitted he was “shocked” by Trump’s victory, said he did everything he could for Harris, but she “turned out to be terrible,” and added that Biden didn’t want to step down… pic.twitter.com/GZ665KwKb5

Trump later reflected on photos of himself and former President Barack Obama at Jimmy Carter’s funeral, noting how their less-than contentious demeanor had caught the public’s eye.
“I didn’t realize how friendly it looked. I said, ‘Boy, they look like two people who like each other,’ and we probably do. We have little different philosophies, right, but we probably do,” Trump remarked at the time.
Adding to the string of political gossip, former First Lady Melania Trump accused the Obamas of withholding information during the 2016 White House transition.
Speaking with FOX News, Melania said, “The first time was challenging; we didn’t have much information. The information was upheld [sic] from us by the previous administration.”

“But this time I have everything… it’s a very different transition this time, second time around,” she added.
Michelle Obama has now decided to skip Trump’s inauguration for his second term.
Some sources speculated that the Obamas’ decisions were calculated, with Michelle allegedly telling Page Six she had no plans to “be fake.”
A source close to Michelle reiterated, “She’s never been fake and she’s never been phony. She doesn’t have to unify around [Trump].”
On Thursday, musician Kid Rock chimed in during a FOX interview, sharing his thoughts on Michelle’s no-show.

When asked about his involvement in Trump’s inaugural event, Kid Rock mentioned attending former President Obama’s inauguration as well, despite differing political views.
“I would kindly remind her that years back, when Obama was first elected, I did not vote for him, but they asked me to play the inauguration, and I played it, and I went, had a good time,” he commented.
