Far-left Hollywood star John Cusack turned on the “Democratic elite” for selling out the “working class for decades.”
The 57-year-old Gross Pointe Blank star posted a lengthy rant blasting “corporatist democrats” of exploiting the American public with “selfish” actions “because they can get away with it.”
“They have played a major part in creating the precise conditions for fascism to flourish – Obama corporatist democrats – are to the right of Richard Nixon on domestic policy,” he tweeted on Thursday.
Cusack said if his followers didn’t believe the accusations they should look up how “Dems have sold out the working class for decades,” which he noted was a “bought and paid-for betrayal of principals.”
This is what liberals /neoliberals have never understood – or taken responsibility for – that they have played a major part in creating the precise conditions for fascism to flourish – Obama corporatist democrats – are to the right of Richard Nixon on domestic policy –

He accused the Democrats of lacking any “sense of moral or intellectual honesty,” while they betraying the majority of the country “because they can get away with it.”
The Say Anything star went on the tangent in response to an article about how a former Obana lawyer is trying to find a loophole to outlaw federal wealth tax.
He insisted that elite cronyism is the reason behind the political rise of former President Donald Trump.
“All your Yale and Harvard buddies will tell you how great and smart you all are — and they are all in bed with all the same big, big money power players — And we run the world — right?” He wrote in fragmented sentences.
This kind of staggering amoral bulls**t is one of the main reason (yes there are others) [that] Trump’s demagoguery works on people. The Democratic elite ARE full of s**t,” Cusack continued.
He accused the “elites” of a “totally corrupt rigging” how American wealth is concentrated to the likes of Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Jeff Bezos.
He referred to them as “the federalist society billionaires who bought the courts” in an effort “to preserve and expand” their fortunes.
“Imagine what FDR would say about such a proposed law,” the actor went on. “Don’t worry fellas, the Democrats will save the .00000001% from paying tax.

He said that liberal lawmakers “staggering” hubris was a “sham and an insult to everyone’s basic intelligence,” which he considers to be “contempt for people.”
In a follow-up post, Cusack accused Obama’s former acting solicitor general Neal Katyal’s push to make a wealth tax illegal “is a perfect reflection of the slide into fascism.”
He called for charging billionaires a “fair tax,” which would see them taxed the same way as middle class families.
He laid out a list of “basic things” that a “healthy society” should be able to provide for its citizens – including an education, healthcare, a place to live, and food to eat – that “the richest country in the world” lacks because “we care for billionaires.”
“People who are choosing these billionaire[s] over you and your family,” he concluded. “We CAN afford to care for everyone – but not if Dem elites join the GOP in just caring for billionaires.
The same day, Cusack pinned one of his posts that said President Biden was “the most competent executive” in his lifetime.
He’s been the most competent executive – the actual doing of the job-and working the levers of power – in my lifetime
If we had not been ratfucked by two senators he would have made the largest investments in people since FDR . That to me is just factual truth –

The High Fidelity star was responding to podcast host John P. Flannery’s tweet of photo of Biden stretching in front of park bench at the beach.
“Ageism is rampant in our nation,” Flannery lauded. “How many who question Biden’s age are as flexible and as healthy?”
“Experience matters,” replied Cusack. “And I LOVE the idea of a president with the experience of a lifetime in their final chapter of life, calling the shots, what are they gonna do to him?”
“He should be able to look anyone in the eye and tell them to go to hell,” he concluded.
