Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan blasted California for leaning so far left that the state has gone “full communist.”
In a recent episode of his eponymous show, Rogan discussed what prompted him to leave the Golden State with comedian Bobby Lee.
“I used to be a part of the blue bubble, I was 100 percent a left leaning person who lived in Los Angeles,” he said about his previous life before fleeing to Austin, Texas in 2020.
“I was 100 percent, I never voted Republican my whole life I was very left leaning especially with any social issues,” he explained.
NEW: Joe Rogan goes off on liberalism, says he was a liberal his whole life but can no longer support their cause because it has "gone full communist."
Rogan is wide awake 🔥

Even now, Rogan doesn’t identify as a conservative, but is certainly glad he moved during the pandemic.
“At the end of the day, I am way more left than I am right but California went nuts man, it’s gone full communist, it’s out of its f***ing mind,” he told Lee.
Rogan blamed California’s controversial no-bail policy, which went into effect last year, for skyrocketing crime rates.
“Their approach to law enforcement is so insane, the no-cash bail, the letting people out for violent crimes,” he stated.
“The f**king not stopping people for stealing up to whatever money is, was it $900 now? I think they raised it. I think they made it a little higher.”
The policy allows suspects in non-violent crimes to be released on zero-bail, while those accused of serious crimes only need to go in front of a magistrate, who will figure out “appropriate non-financial pre-arraignment release terms,” before cutting them loose into society.
On Monday morning, security footage caught a brazen North Hollywood homeowner take matters into his own hands, when he witnessed a gang of car thieves attempting to steal items from a work van parked on the street.
The man was seen sprinting out of the electric gates of his home with a baseball bat, after a pair of thieves set off the van’s alarm when they broke the driver’s side window in an attempt to steal tools and equipment stored inside.
The man, who was later identified as the van owner’s father, managed to scare the thieves away when he smashed out the back window of their getaway car, and they ran for their lives.
He told local outlet KTLA, that despite his efforts, they made off with thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment. He also noted that other work vans in the area had been targeted in similar thefts recently.
According to Rogan, crime-ridden Los Angeles is not the only city affected by California’s woke policies. San Francisco, which has been plagued by criminal activity, homelessness, and open-aired drug markets, has spiraled into a “doom loop” that has impacted the city’s commerce.
“San Francisco is non-existent, most of San Francisco is emptied out of big chain stores and big department stores. It’s crazy,” he pointed out.
“They ruined the city, but you’ve got to have some hardcore Rudy Giuliani motherf***er to come in there and knock heads,” Rogan suggested.
Though he noted that “nobody wants that,” because Californians are about “peace, love, granola and f**king wear a mask.”
“They are in a cult,” he concluded about the state’s woke residents. “They’re attacking like somebody attacks religious beliefs.”
Despite hating California’s policies, Rogan thinks Governor Gavin Newsom could take the White House if he can manage to turn Los Angeles around.
In September episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” guest Eddie Bravo said that there are rumors floating around that former first lady Michelle Obama could run in President Joe Biden’s stead in the upcoming election.
Joe Rogan says there is little desire for a President Kamala Harris, and he slams Gavin Newsom as "a f–ckin conman" and a "carboard cutout" who tried to mandate unnecessary mRNA vaccines for children and got caught disobeying his own COVID-19 orders:

Rogan doesn’t know if she is up for the challenge, but believes Newsom is and has a shot.
“I think Gavin Newsom could win,” he commented. “It seems like Gavin Newsom wants to be president. He, like, fits the bill. Handsome, tall, smooth talker. Like, it’d be so much better than Biden as a president!”
“He’s trying to figure out how to remove these homeless encampments in California,” Rogan said in praise of the Governor. “But there’s laws against it and there’s laws that prevent you from pushing those people out.”
“If he can clean that up, if he can refund the police. Clean that up. Make L.A. safe like 2016, safe,” he concluded about Newsom. “If that guy did that, he could get a lot of people’s vote for president.”
His statements seemed to directly contrast remarks he made about Newsom over the summer, when he called the California governor a “f**king conman.”
“Nobody want’s president Newsom either, nobody believes in that guy,” he said during an episode. “That guy’s a f**king conman … he’s just a stone-cold, narrative driven politician.”
