President Biden trolled MAGA with a “Dark Brandon” meme, after President Donald Trump made surprising remarks about singer Taylor Swift’s endorsement.
Biden shocked the internet with a meme that insinuated he and Swift had planned for the Kansas City Chiefs to win over the San Francisco 49ers in a nail-biting 25-22 triumph at Super Bowl LVIII.
His X, formerly Twitter, account shared an image of the president in a black suit with red laser eyes, along with the caption: “Just like we drew it up.”
The post was a call back to a popular conspiracy theory that involved the NFL rigging the Super Bowl for a Chiefs’ win and a the singer celebrating their victory by endorsing Biden.

Earlier in the day, Biden joined TikTok and answered questions about the Super Bowl.
One of the questions was: “Deviously plotting to rig the season so the Chiefs would make the Super Bowl or the Chiefs being just a good football team?”
“I’d get in trouble if I told you,” Biden remarked, before the video cut away from the president to a shot of “Dark Brandon.”

On Sunday, Trump said that Swift, who cheered on Kansas City – and her significant other, Travis Kelce – couldn’t possibly endorse Biden in the upcoming election.
In a statement on Truth Social, Trump brought up how he helped line Swift’s pockets when he enacted the Music Modernization Act in 2018.
I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our…

This legislation was intended to remedy “loopholes” in digital music royalties, aiding artists and musicians to secure fair pay for their songs.
“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will,” Trump asserted.
He said there was “no way” that the pop star could endorse Biden, who he labeled as “the worst and most corrupt president in the history of our country.
Trump noted that she shouldn’t be disloyal to him, “the man who made her so much money.”
The ex-president also reasoned that Swift should stay on his side, because he likes “her boyfriend,” despite the fact that Kelce “may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”
Trump’s post comes on the heels of what the New York Times dubbed Biden’s “Anti-Trump Battle Plan,” which includes getting endorsements from prominent celebrities and social media influencers.

The outlet said that Biden aides have been “drafting wish lists of potential surrogates,” and Swift’s is “the endorsement of their wildest dreams.”
While the “Bad Blood” singer has yet to publicly endorse a contender for the 2024 elections, she has previously thrown her support behind Biden.
Prior to the 2020 election, she tweeted an image of herself wielding cookies emblazoned with messages backing Biden and now-Vice President Kamala Harris.
She shared her motivation behind the endorsement in a conversation with V Magazine.
Swift told the outlet that the country needed a president who safeguards people of color, acknowledges the LGBTQIA+ community, and allows women the right to choose.
“Everyone deserves a government that takes global health risks seriously and puts the lives of its people first,” she stated.
“The only way we can begin to make things better is to choose leaders who are willing to face these issues and find ways to work through them.”

Swift said that she would “proudly” vote for the Biden/Harris ticket, as she believed at the time that they would allow the country to have “a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs.”
On Sunday night, Swift didn’t endorse any candidates at the big game, but did get plenty of prime time coverage while chugging drinks and cheering for the Chiefs.
Swift was captured enthusiastically hugging and kissing Kelce on the field after his team defeated the San Francisco 49ers, after a low scoring game that ended with a touchdown in overtime.

Kelce might have been loved up with the singer after the game ended, but during the tense match, he was heated enough to confront coach Andy Reid, 65, after a contentious game decision.
According to NBC, Reid’s strategic move – not including Kelce – provoked the player’s frustration, evidenced during an exchange that rapidly became viral on X.

During the confrontation, Kelce was seen being pulled away from Reid by teammate Jerick McKinnon, after he shouted at and shoved the head coach on the sidelines.
Kelce’s “Inexcusable” actions were called out by angry commenters online.
“I already had my suspicions about Mr. Pfizer, but all of them were just confirmed,” one angry viewer wrote.
“When I watched Travis Kelce get physical with his 65-year-old head coach Andy Reid. Unacceptable!”

While many social media pundits bashed Kelce for the aggressive move, Reid laughed his player’s actions off in a post-game presser.
“He keeps me young, you know,” he told CBS sports with a chuckle.
Reid said that Kelce’s bump “tested” his bad hip out and that his balance proved to be “not so good.”
“He caught me off balance,” the back-to-back Super Bowl winning coach said about the tight end. “Normally I give him a little bit, but I didn’t have any feet under me.”
