Trump trashes the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and comedian Colin Jost over “absolute disaster” event on Saturday night.
Dubbed the “Nerd Prom,” the dinner saw President Joe Biden and the evening’s main act, Colin Jost of “Saturday Night Live,” aiming jokes at Trump amidst the backdrop of anti-Israel protests unfolding outside the Washington D.C. gathering.
Caitlyn Jenner was filmed being mobbed by protesters who the former Olympic athlete flipped off while walking into and out of the event.
“Shame on the hundreds of Terrorist sympathizers and the Hamas lovers outside last nights #WHCD that were far from peaceful,” Jenner tweeted the next day.

There is no place for you or your vitriolic antisemitism in this country.
Get the hell out – we don’t tolerate terrorism here. 🇺🇸 🇮🇱 pic.twitter.com/bMKc2TxLaI— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn_Jenner) April 28, 2024
“There is no place for you or your vitriolic antisemitism in this country,” the decathlete added. “Get the hell out – we don’t tolerate terrorism here.”
Once inside, Biden didn’t hold back from tossing barbs at Trump during his speech, labeling him “Sleepy Don” and making references to the former leader’s legal entanglements.
Biden, 81, also made a joke about concerns regarding his own age by comparing it to the youthfulness of his political adversary.
“The 2024 election is in full swing and, yes, age is an issue. I’m a grown man running against a 6-year-old,” he quipped “Well I feel great. I really feel great.”
Beyond the humor, Biden aimed to deliver a grave message liberals about what he perceives as Trump’s threat to democracy, cautioning against “disinformation.”

Afterwards Josh roasted Biden over the wavering support of black voters in the upcoming election.
“My ‘Weekend Update’ co-anchor Michael Che was going to join me here tonight but in solidarity with President Biden I decided to lose all my black support,” he quipped.
Jost also targeted Trump, remarking, “It’s after 10 p.m. ‘Sleepy Joe’ is still awake while Donald Trump has spent the past week falling asleep in court every morning – though Fox News said he was just being anti-woke.”

Nearing the end of his spiel, Jost turned reflective as he remembered his late grandfather William Kelly, a Staten Island firefighter, who supported Biden during the 2020 elections.
“He voted for you and the reason that he voted for you is because you’re a decent man,” Jost said to Biden. “My grandpa voted for decency and decency is why we’re all here tonight.”
Trump was clearly not impressed by the roast, or the comedian’s final nod to Biden.
“The White House Correspondents’ Dinner was really bad,” he posted to Truth Social on Saturday night.
“Colin Jost BOMBED, and Crooked Joe was an absolute disaster! Doesn’t get much worse than this!”

Meanwhile, the audience Matt Friend didn’t get much love while addressing the 2,600 attendees while he was impersonating Trump.
“It is really a tremendous opportunity to be at the most failed dinner anyone’s ever seen. Great to see you losers,” he greeted the crowd.
“Why is it so quiet? What’s happening? It’s quieter than Sleepy Joe,” after not receiving any laughs.
“This dinner is sadder than Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured President’s Department, right?” he continued.
“Let’s face it, folks. I’m on fire right now, like the guy outside the courthouse, right?” he said referencing the protester who set himself on fire outside of Trump’s trial last week and died in the hospital.
After getting a series of groans, Friend noted that he was “killing this dinner harder than Kristi Noem kills the puppies.”
The quip referred to a passage from the South Dakota governor’s upcoming book, where she wrote about taking her 14-month-old dog Cricket, who claimed was “untrainable” and called “less than worthless,” to a pit of gravel and fatally shooting the puppy.

Noem dug herself even deeper on Friday while attempting to defend euthanizing Cricket.
“We love animals, but tough decisions like this happen all the time on a farm,” she wrote.
“Sadly, we just had to put down 3 horses a few weeks ago that had been in our family for 25 years.”
