Rapper Afroman has rebooted his iconic 2000 anthem, “Because I Got High,” to take aim at Hunter Biden.
The original tune features Afroman lamenting over missed opportunities and troubles, attributing them to his marijuana usage.
Baste Records took to X, formerly Twitter, on Friday to announce the remix titled, “Hunter Got High,” along with a link to the accompanying music video.
The music video kicks off with Afroman saying, “Hey Hunter! Roll another one of those congressional blunts, brother,” as he and an actor dressed as Hunter Biden light up in the rear seat of a black SUV.

In this new rendition, Afroman croons, “He was going to get his laptop fixed, but Hunter got high.”
Further lyrics continue the theme, “He should have let Hillary bleach the whole hard drive. But Hunter got high, Hunter got high, Hunter got high,” he repeats as both the Hunter Biden impersonator and an actor resembling President Biden join in the song.
In addition to referencing the notorious laptop incident, the revamped song casts a light on alleged shady business dealings by the Biden family and even nods to an incident where cocaine was reportedly found at the White House last year.
One verse goes, “He thought he had a secret stash, but Hunter got high. The White House got shut down, and we all know why. Hunter got high, Hunter got high, Hunter got high.”
Afroman doesn’t shy away from mocking Hunter’s venture into art, a subject that has stirred controversy over concerns about potential conflicts of interest between affluent purchasers and the Biden administration.
“Biden never use to start with B-U-Y. Till Hunter got high, Hunter got high, Hunter got high,” the rapper continues.
The song humorously suggests that Hunter’s actions have led to unforeseen international relations, “Ukraine wasn’t part of the plan, till Hunter got high China wasn’t that big a fan, till Hunter got high. He wasn’t going to split it all with the old big guy. But Hunter got high, Hunter got high, Hunter got high.”
Afroman better watch out, because the first son’s attorney’s aren’t afraid of threatening legal action.
His lawyers reportedly issued a warning to Fox News, threatening imminent legal action over what they claim is “unlicensed commercial exploitation.”
Attorney Mark Geragos alerted both Fox Corporation and Fox News Digital about their alleged “conspiracy and subsequent actions to defame [Hunter] Biden and paint him in a false light, the unlicensed commercial exploitation of his image, name, and likeness, and the unlawful publication of hacked intimate images of him.”
You can’t make this stuff up. Hunter Biden is suing Fox News for airing photos of him with prostitutes while he was on crack.
Does he realize how ridiculous that sounds to your average American or??? pic.twitter.com/Lmta9COh5d

NBC News reported that the letter was sent on April 23, and gave the media conglomerate a three day deadline to respond. While Fox didn’t acknowledge the legal threat yet, Hunter’s legal team still hasn’t filed a suit against them.
Hunter’s lawyers have reportedly been contemplating legal action against Fox for over a year, with Geragos criticizing the network for “relentlessly” attacking against his client for viewership and monetary gain.
“For the last five years, Fox News has relentlessly attacked Hunter Biden and made him a caricature in order to boost ratings and for its financial gain,” Geragos remarked about the forthcoming legal challenge.
“The recent indictment of FBI informant Smirnov has exposed the conspiracy of disinformation that has been fueled by Fox, enabled by their paid agents and monetized by the Fox enterprise. We plan on holding them accountable.”
The correspondence also criticized Fox News for airing bribery claims made by informant Alexander Smirnov without verification.
Smirnov had falsely implicated then-Vice President Biden and Burisma, where Hunter served on the board, in a bribery narrative that saw the FBI charge him with making false statements in February.
Fox News is also under scrutiny for broadcasting “intimate images” of Hunter that his lawyers claimed to have been unlawally acquired, especially during the airing of a six-part “mock trial” called “The Trial of Hunter Biden” in October 2021.
The request includes demands for this series to be removed from all digital platforms.
