Ultra-liberal “Hocus Pocus” witch Bette Midler got immediately fact checked on Sunday when she questioned what would happen if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton questioned the legitimacy of the 2016 election… Which she did, multiple times.
“Can you imagine what would have happened if Hillary Clinton had claimed the election was stolen?” Midler asked her two million followers over the weekend.
Social media dissenters were quick to point out that that Clinton has absolutely questioned the legitimacy of the election she lost to former President Donald Trump, and had receipts.
One user shared a screenshot of a 2020 article which was titled “Hillary Clinton Maintains 2016 Election ‘Was Not On the Level,'” which they captioned: “She actually did, it’s not even my imagination.”

“There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level,” Clinton stated on The Atlantic’s politics podcast, The Ticket, in October 2020. “We still don’t know what really happened.”
“There’s just a lot that I think will be revealed. History will discover,” she added. “But you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’ That was a deep sense of unease.”
In August 2020, Clinton told Showtime’s “The Circus,” that then Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden should not concede the presidential election “under any circumstances” because she thought that it was “going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”
At the time, she said that the Biden campaign was working on a “massive legal operation” to prevent election fraud and encouraged Democratic poll workers to join the cause.
“We have to have our own teams of people to counter the force of intimidation that the Republicans and Trump are going to put outside polling places,” Clinton encouraged.
“This is a big organizational challenge, but at least we know more about what they’re going to do.”

One X user shared a supercut of the former Obama administration official explaining how “you can have the election stolen from you.”
“Hillary Clinton wrote the book on denying elections,” the captioned the video. “The (main stream media) did a great job of hiding it from you.”
The same day as Midler’s post, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) criticized NBC News for its partisan approach against Republicans, which they claim is to “protect democracy.”
During his appearance on “Meet the Press” on Sunday, host Kristen Welker initially asked Rubio if he would serve as Donald Trump’s vice president.
The conversation turned ugly when Welker asked the senator if he would accept the presidential election results “no matter what.”
Rubio shot back that both Republicans and Democrats might contest the 2024 election “if it’s an unfair election.”
“You’re asking the wrong person. The Democrats are the ones that have opposed every Republican victory since 2000 — every single one,” he added.
“Hillary Clinton said the election was stolen from her and that Trump was illegitimate.”
Naturally, Welker said that ‘no Democrat has refuse to concede and election,” and that Clinton had in fact conceded.
“[Clinton] said that Trump was illegitimate. She said that the election had been stolen. Kamala Harris agreed,” Rubio sneered.

“By the way, there are Democrats serving in Congress today who, in 2004, voted not to certify the Ohio electors because they said those machines had been tampered with,” he pointed out.
“And you have Democrats now saying they won’t certify 2024 because Trump is an insurrectionist and ineligible to hold office. So you need to ask them.”
As Welker repeated that Clinton “conceded,” and Rubio asked if she had ever asked any Democrats the same question during an interview.
Welker refused to answer and attempted to redirect the conversation by using Rubio’s own statements as a means to criticize Trump, claiming that the ex-president has undermined “Americans’ confidence in democracy.”
Rubio wasn’t having it and clapped back: “What undermines elections is when NBC News and every major news outlet in America in 2020 censored the [Hunter] Biden laptop story, which turned out to be true — not Russian misinformation. Unprecedented.”
