Supporters of former President Donald Trump are furious that Ana Navarro, co-host of “The View,” posted a nude photo of Melania Trump on Instagram.
The ill-conceived revenge post was Navarro’s attempt at defending Vice President Kamala Harris who has faced increased online attacks since being promoted to the top of the Democratic ticket.
Navarro, 52, has consistently criticized Trump and his administration since before he took office in 2016.
But she really went off the rails defending Harris, who has been scrutinized over her dating history, which Navarro found particularly infuriating, and chose to retaliate by posting a nude image of the former First Lady.
This nasty woman @ananavarro that portrays herself as the defender of women, is trying to publicly shame Melania in her hate campaign towards Trump.
You are a bitter, jealous woman, you wish you had the beauty, intelligence and elegance Melania has. https://t.co/0gphkcfwbi

“Some Republicans are out there on TV and social media making vile sexual remarks about Kamala Harris and wanting to make her dating history an issue,” Navarro posted.
“This country deserves a debate on real issues, affecting us all. But you want to make this an issue? Bring it on.”
Navarro accompanied her statement with a nude photograph of Melania Trump from a January 2000 GQ photo shoot, showing the former First Lady posing on a fur rug, adorned in diamond jewelry, and handcuffed to a briefcase.
So, Ana Navarro is going after Melania when she was a model before marrying President Trump. So if you have seen the "nude" pic she posted of Melania, it's much better than looking at Hauk Tauh Harris. I sense some jealously there on Ana.

Additionally, she included another photo of the Trumps at a party with convicted sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“I’ve never seen naked pics of Kamala Harris or her spouse. Kamala never partied with sexual predators,” Navarro blasted.
“You wanna go low? I’m not leaving one thing unanswered this time. Not a one. I’ll happily go 20,000 leagues under the sea,” the post concluded.
Numerous Trump supporters criticized Navarro’s outburst and the image she used in her attack.
“Shame on Ana Navarro using a GQ Photoshoot picture of Melania to make a salacious point. Melania was a model, it is what they do, pose in all sorts of photos. Ana is no republican, she is a traitor. I stopped watching the View.” one commenter wrote.
“Women tearing down other women is a form of self-hate. There is no reason outside of envy and hate should another woman open their mouths to tear down another woman,” added another.
JD Vance says women who haven’t given birth like Kamala Harris are “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives,” and have “no direct stake” in America. pic.twitter.com/3DJY3pQTGe

Navarro’s post follows JD Vance’s controversial comments, where he labeled women like Harris as “childless cat ladies” during a 2021 interview with then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Vance argued that the US was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
He stated, “It’s just a basic fact – you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC – the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?”
Whoopi Goldberg, Navarro’s co-host, was incensed by Vance’s remarks. “There are people who have chosen not to have children for whatever reason and they are people who want to have children who cannot. How dare you,” she retorted.
Navarro has a history of making pointed comments about the former First Lady. Before the 2016 election, Melania Trump’s speech on cyberbullying drew Navarro’s ire.
“If Melania Trump wants to do something against online bullying, really, all she’s gotta do is put a little melatonin in his nighttime milk and maybe lullaby him to sleep,” Navarro remarked on CNN.
“It’s a very difficult argument to make when you’re sleeping next to Donald Trump, who’s tweeting at 3 in the morning and tweeting really ridiculous things.”
In 2018, Navarro once again criticized Melania Trump’s anti-cyberbullying campaign, stating it showed a “lack of self-awareness,” suggesting the initiative could only have been created by someone who had “suffered oxygen deprivation to the brain.”
During discussions about Trump’s 2018 visit to the U.S.–Mexico border to meet with migrant children separated from their parents, Navarro commented the Trump’s marriage.
On vacay & I swore I’d stay off political twitter.
But damn, girlfriend’s lack of self-awareness & any sense of shame for her husband’s use of the Presidency to bully others, is hard to ignore.
Only plausible explanation here is, Melania suffered oxygen deprivation to the brain. https://t.co/o93MONfeUl— Ana Navarro-Cárdenas (@ananavarro) August 20, 2018
“We all know that this is a very complicated marriage,” Navarro quipped. “I thought she was trying to self-deport from the White House.”
In March, Navarro claimed Melania “made a deal with the devil” by marrying her husband, acknowledging that the former First Lady “was publicly humiliated in the process and had every right to be angry,” referencing the hush money arrangement Trump had with Stormy Daniels.
Two days before Navarro’s attack, Melania Trump announced that she would be releasing a memoir in the fall.
Simply titled “Melania,” the book promises “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence.”
The announcement from Melania Trump’s office did not provide a specific release date or confirm whether the book would be available before Election Day in November.
According to the announcement, the memoir “invites readers into her world,” offering a personal and intimate portrait of her “extraordinary life.”
The book will come in two versions: a $150 “Collector’s Edition,” featuring 256 pages in full color with each copy signed by Melania, and a “Memoir Edition,” comprising 304 pages with 48 never-before-seen photographs, listed at $40, with signed editions available for $75.
Both editions are currently available for pre-order exclusively through MelaniaTrump.com.
