Vice President Kamala Harris demonstrated a noticeable change in her speaking style in just a week’s time, adopting wildly different tones when addressing California drag queens versus a rally crowd in Georgia.
When Harris made an appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in Los Angeles, her tone was clear and precise.
“Hi, everyone. It’s Kamala Harris. Each day we are seeing our rights and freedoms under attack, including the right of everyone to be who they are, love who they love, openly and with pride,” Harris said on the show.
“So, as we fight back against these attacks, let’s all remember — no one is alone. We are all in this together. And your vote is your power.”

However, when she addressed a crowd of supporters at an Atlanta rally on Tuesday, she had adopted a noticeable Southern drawl.
“You all helped us win in 2020 and we gonna do it again in 2024,” Harris told attendees in her new accent.
Conservative commentator Greg Price shared side-by-side videos to demonstrate the significant change in her accent.
“Here is Kamala Harris, who was born in California to Jamaican and Indian college professors, talking to drag queens in Los Angeles a week ago vs. black people in Atlanta tonight,” he captioned the video. “Fakest human being that has ever lived.”
OutKick founder Clay Travis also commented on X, saying, “Kamala Harris went to speak in Atlanta and now has a southern accent,” along with a clip. “Why do people do this? It’s just so transparently fake.”
“Do people do this with any other regional accents? I don’t think so,” he said in a follow-up post. “No one goes to Massachusetts and suddenly talks like a Kennedy. It’s only the South.”
Both posts received considerable criticism regarding the differences in her accents.
“One wonders if any journalists in Georgia or elsewhere will question Kamala’s obviously fake southern accent at her highly managed stage performance in Atlanta,” one replier said.
Another pointed out, “It’s what sociopaths do,” while one user noted, “It’s called mirroring and it is a strong narcissistic tendency.”

The clip from her Atlanta rally was compared to a video from Hillary Clinton’s 2007 presidential campaign, where she also adopted a thick Southern accent while campaigning in the south.
“Kamala Harris’s fake southern accent puts Hillary Clinton to shame,” someone wrote.
Another post read, “The fake Southern/jive accent is such a narcissistic, privileged white liberal compulsion.”
“It never occurs to them how cringe and racist it is,” the user continued. “At least Hillary actually lived in the South for a bit; Kamala is a California valley girl raised in Canada.”
Former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) blasted Harris and the liberal media for her the “word salad” she spewed while standing next to President Biden at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland.
“This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy and strengthening alliances.”
It's amazing that journalists can look themselves in the mirror while letting this person coast to a major party nomination for president.

Harris, who has not held a press conference since Biden dropped out of the election, made the less-than-clear remarks after a 24-person prisoner swap that Washington, D.C. made with Moscow to return reporter Evan Gershkovich, Marine veteran Paul Whelan, and two others to American soil on Thursday.
“It’s amazing that journalists can look themselves in the mirror while letting this person coast to a major party nomination for president,” Vance tweeted. “Is anyone going to ask this person a question?”
The video clip Vance replied to was posted by the former President Trump campaign’s “war room,” along with the caption: “Kamala unscripted for the first time.”
In a follow-up post, he added, “Kamala sounds like a third grader giving a book report on a book she didn’t read.”

Conservative critics said that the remarks as another example of Harris delivering a “word salad” when speaking without a teleprompter.
Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro tweeted, “She is beyond word salad. She is now churning out word slaw.”
Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren said, “Here we go again. Kamala is still burdened by what has been, clearly.”
