Pulp Fiction filmmaker Quentin Tarantino admitted that Vice President Kamala Harris shouldn’t do interviews to avoid damaging her chances of winning in November.
On a recent episode of Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast, the “Pulp Fiction” director said that Harris hiding from interviews would be “the easiest path to winning the election.”
Harris sat down with Dana Bash for her first interview as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee on CNN Thursday night, and despite bringing along her VP pick Tim Walz to answer the reporter’s “softball” questions, she still struggled.
Harris had a hard time articulating what what she would do on day one of being in the White House if she wins the presidential election.

“Well, there are a number of things,” Harris began. “I will tell you first and foremost one of my highest priorities is to do what we can to support and strengthen the middle class. When I look at the aspirations, the goals, the ambitions of the American people, I think that people are ready for a new way forward in a way that generations of Americans have been fueled by — by hope and by optimism,” she began vaguely.
Instead of answering the question, she took a shot at Trump for “pushing an agenda” that “is about diminishing the character and the strength of who we are as Americans” and “dividing our nation.”
When Bash pushed her to actually answer the question, Harris said, “Day one, it’s gonna be about one, implementing my plan for what I call an opportunity economy.”

“I’ve already laid out a number of proposals in that regard, which include what we’re gonna do to bring down the cost of everyday goods, what we’re gonna do to invest in America’s small businesses, what we’re gonna do to invest in families,” she added.
Harris also managed to fumble over her words while trying to explain her recent policy flip-flops.
Bash asked if voters should “feel comfortable and confident that what you’re saying now is going to be your policy moving forward.”
Harris shot back that the “most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.”
She cited the Green New Deal as an example, noting that the “climate crisis is real” and “is an urgent matter” that has deadlines that the government is striving to meet.
"The climate crisis is real. That it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time."

That’s when she conceded that he “Inflation Reduction Act” had nothing to do with reducing inflation and was really green energy spending bill.
“We did that with the Inflation Reduction Act,” Harris admitted. “We have set goals for the United States of America and by extension the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as an example. That value has not changed.”
Harris also tried to claim that she was tougher on the border than Trump, after Bash asked why it took the Biden-Harris administration “three and a half years to implement sweeping asylum restrictions.”
“Well, first of all, the root causes work that I did as vice president, that I was asked to do by the president has actually resulted in a number of benefits, including historic investments by American businesses in that region,” the “border czar” insisted.
“The number of immigrants coming from that region has actually reduced since we’ve began that work.”
She also blamed Trump for torpedoing a Senate border bill because “it would not have helped him politically.”

Harris also reportedly lied about her previous remarks about supporting a fracking ban. In 2019, she commented, “There is no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.”
When Bash asked if that was still her stance, Harris backtracked. “No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020, that I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking.”
When Bash pointed back to her 2019 statement about being “in favor” of a fracking ban, Harris said she made her stance “very clear” back in 2020.
“We are in 2024, and I have not changed that position, nor will I going forward. I kept my word, and I will keep my word,” she responded.

However, Harris didn’t say that she would not end fracking in 2020, she said that Biden wouldn’t while she was debating former Vice President Mike Pence ahead of the election.
“Alright, so first of all, I will repeat, and the American people know, that Joe Biden will not ban fracking. That is a fact,” she said at the time.
Tarantino, who is a true blue supporter of Harris made the point that Harris doesn’t need to to media interviews ahead of the election, and probably shouldn’t lest she harm her chances of winning by actually speaking.
“I think it’s just about winning the f***ing election, all right?” He said during an interview with late-night comedian Bill Maher. “And the easiest path to winning the election.”
“Look, you can talk about maybe she should have had more guts about this or that or the other, but we’re the f***in’ president!”
In an expletive-filled rant, Tarantino said “sometimes it’s just about f***in’ winning, and it doesn’t matter how we look!”
“At this moment, it’s about f***ing winning!” He continued. “It’s a mad f***ing dash, and she is running; she’s not stopping to stumble!”
According to the “Pulp Fiction” director, it doesn’t matter to him what Harris says or doesn’t, she has his vote regardless.
“I’m gonna vote for her f***ing anyway no matter what she says in a stupid f***ing interview, so don’t f*** s**t up!!” he concluded.
