Radio host Howard Stern quipped that he doesn’t hate former President Donald Trump, just the people who vote for him.
During the Monday episode of “The Howard Stern Show,” the titular shock jock brought up how Trump posted “I hate Taylor Swift” on his Truth Social account over the weekend.
Trump’s post was put out on Sunday, likely a timely rebuke to the NFL darling’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris immediately after the Presidential Debate.
“This whole idea of you like me, you are good, and if you don’t, you are bad … I’ve been the victim of this,” Stern began.
“I don’t agree with Trump politically, I don’t think he should be anywhere near the White House.”
Though Trump appeared Stern’s show two dozen times since the 90’s, and even attended his 1993 wedding to Marla Maples, the radio host has been nothing less than antagonistic to his former friend since the 45th president went into politics.
“I don’t hate the guy,” he noted.” I hate the people who vote for him. I think they are stupid. I do. I have no respect for you.”

Stern pointed out that he’s at the tail end of his radio career and told listeners, “so f*** you and listen to another station if you don’t like my views [on Trump].”
Elsewhere on the show, Stern concurred with a caller who said Trump was like Hitler.
”It is the same playbook,” the radio host said. “We have seen it before in history.”
“Hitler was perceived as a clown in Germany. He was one of these buffoonish characters,” Stern continued.
“Somehow he won an election. And that was the end of Germany. He dragged them through hell and back.”

Stern claimed the current state of U.S. politics feels “like a replay of pre-World War II.”
“I am one of those people who believe that if the election goes the wrong way, it’s the end of the United States,” he concluded.
On Tuesday’s episode of Fox New’s “The Five,” panelist Greg Gutfeld said Stern was turning into what he hates the most.
“Well it is weird because he criticizes Trump for dividing the country, and then he says he hates his supporters, so he’s not learning from his own analysis,” Gutfeld remarked.
The comedian suggested that Stern had “turned into the thing he hated,” which he attributed to “a mix of ego and resentment.”
“It’s also a weird attack because the Trump voters are a lot like his listeners, especially if you think about his listeners of old, the blue-collar truck drivers, cops, salesmen, people on the road,” Gutfeld noted about the shock jock.
He compared Stern turning his back on blue-collar listeners to a man who changed his whole life after a divorce.
“He married to a younger wife. He left the whole thing behind, and now, he’s got new friends,” Gutfeld added, noting that his new buddies live in the Hamptons.
“And he’s ashamed of that world,” Gutfeld said about Stern’s working-class listeners.
When Trump appeared on Gutfeld’s eponymous primetime show the same night, he said that Stern’s ultra liberal mindset has destroyed his SirusXM show.
“I was on the Howard Stern show as much as anybody and he was great at that time, then he went woke,” he explained.
“And since he’s gone woke, his ratings have gone down the tubes an he sort of went anti-Trump.”
Trump said that he was previously such a frequent flyer on the show, that he was predominantly featured in a compilation of Stern’s greatest moments.
“We have good shows, it was good,” the Republican nominee added. “But he’s changed and he doesn’t do the ratings anymore.”
