The Daily Beast’s chief content officer, Joanna Coles, suggested that Melania Trump might have used her nude photos to sway male voters in favor of Donald Trump.
In her memoir, the former first lady advocated for abortion rights, noting that it’s “imperative” that women have autonomy over their own bodies.
She firmly stated there’s “no room for compromise” on a woman’s right to choose, a stance differing from her husband’s previous pro-life position.
The Guardian revealed excerpts from her memoir, where Melania questions why anyone but the woman herself should decide what she does with her body, asserting that denying her the right to terminate a pregnancy equates to denying her bodily autonomy.

“A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes,” she wrote.
“Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body,” she Melania noted. “I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life.”
Coles, while speaking on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” on Thursday morning, insinuated that Melania might have reached young male voters with her nude photo shoots in British GQ, which were taken in 2000.

“This is a familiar Republican trope. The wives come out and say they believe in abortion rights come out and say they believe in abortion, when their husbands, who have the power to actually take away women’s rights,” Coles claimed.
“It is worth pointing out that one of the most pro-choice groups in the United States at the moment is young men under the age of 40 who have actually turned out in all of those referendums that we’ve had in Kentucky, Kansas and Ohio,” panelist Katty Kay noted. “They’ve actually turned out to defeat restrictions on abortion.”

“I don’t know if Melania is talking to those young men particularly, she may be talking just to their wives, but she’s in line where most of the United States is and all the polling shows where the population is. She’s just not particularly in line where her husband’s politics are,” Kay added.
“Well she might have been speaking to those young men with her naked pictures when she did the nude photoshoots in GQ,” sniped Coles, who also claimed that Melania “absolutely hates” her husband.
The former first lady broke her silence about her former work as a model in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Why do I stand proudly behind my nude modeling work?” she questioned in a voiceover. “Are we no longer able to appreciate the beauty of the human body?”
“The more pressing question is, why has the media chosen to scrutinize my celebration of the human form in a fashion photo shoot?” Melania continued.
The video featured famous artists works of the nude human form, including Michelangelo’s “David,” Paul Cézanne’s “Bathers,” and John Collier’s “Lady Godiva.”
“Throughout history, master artists have revered the human shape, evoking profound emotions and admiration. We should honor our bodies and embrace the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful means of self-expression,” she contended.
During Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin wondered if Melania’s pro-choice stance was an attempt to sabotage Donald Trump’s campaign.
The panel discussed the disparity between Melania’s views and the former president’s “bragging over the campaign trail” overturning Roe v. Wade.
NEW: Crowd starts clapping after ‘The View’ co-host Sunny Hostin appears to suggest that Melania Trump wants to k*ll Donald Trump.
Hostin says Melania wants to “take [Trump] out” because she “hates” him.

Hostin suggested Melania despises her husband and wants to distance herself from the role of First Lady.
“I think she hates him. We can all agree on that,” she argued. “That’s a given. I also think that she wants to take him out. She does not want to be the First Lady anymore.”
She went as far as to claim that Melania allegedly dislikes Christmas decor, adding she doesn’t even share a room with Donald.
“She doesn’t want to be the First Lady, she destroyed the Rose Garden. Who hates Christmas? Melania Trump hates Christmas. She doesn’t want to decorate for Christmas,” Hostin ranted.
“She doesn’t want anything to do with him. She doesn’t want to sleep in the same room as him. She can’t tolerate him.”
Whoopi Goldberg reminded Hostin to use “allegedly” amidst her claims, while Joy Behar questioned the certainty of Hostin’s assertions.
“How do you know all this? You don’t know all this!” Behar contested.
However, Hostin remained steadfast, suggesting Melania’s actions could undermine the Republican nominee’s presidential aspirations to escape him.
“This is [Melania’s] way of undercutting his bid for the presidency because then she doesn’t have to deal with him anymore,” she stated.
“I think that she wants to take him out and she’s doing a pretty damn good job of it,” Hostin shockingly added.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously worked in the Trump administration, poked holes in Hostin’s theory, pointing out the possibility of Trump facing legal repercussions if he doesn’t make it into office.
“If Donald Trump loses, he likely goes to jail,” she said about Trump’s legal woes. “I’m not convinced Melania Trump wants to see the father of her children in jail.”
