Bruce Springsteen tore into Donald Trump, taking issue with the former president’s use of music during a medical delay at recent campaign rally.
“The whole thing of standing and swaying for 40 minutes at your town hall? I mean, swaying to music, that’s my job,” the “Born in the U.S.A.” singer told The Telegraph,
At a town hall in Pennsylvania, Trump cut short the Q&A session following disruptions caused by medical incidents in the audience.
Instead, he had music played, including tracks like James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye,” while he grooved on stage to the music.

The billionaire, who recently endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in a lengthy video endorsement that painted himself as an every-man, criticized Trump for his involvement in the events leading up to the January 6 Capitol riot.
“He’s an insurrectionist,” Springsteen asserted. “You know, he led a coup on the United States government, so there’s no way he should be let anywhere near the office of the presidency.”
He labeled Trump as “mentally ill” and admitted he wasn’t too worried about Trump’s chances in the upcoming election.

“I do believe Kamala Harris is going to win,” Springsteen predicted. “Of course, I’ve been wrong before about this.”
“I think in the States, there’s an enormous anxiety, however, at losing the things that are dearest to us, the danger of losing democracy, rule of law, peaceful transfer of power. And this is a guy who is committed to none of these things,” he continued.
“Are you going to sleep well knowing that the nuclear codes have been given to Donald Trump? No,” he concluded. “No one is.”
In a related note, Barbra Streisand also criticized Trump in a social media tirade that made reference to his dancing on stage at the town hall event.
“Trump with his disowned self is now projecting his mental decline onto others like Kamala,” she tweeted on Wednesday. “It’s so transparent that he is unfit for a 4 year term as President of the US.”

“Donald Trump already has plans to contest the outcome on Election Day. He will unleash the same chaos as in 2020 when he lost by over 7 million votes,” Streisand wrote in a follow-up post.
The actress then went on to give her hot take on Trump playing music for the town hall audience while medical professionals attended to the those who had fallen ill in the hot auditorium.
“This is not normal. Particularly for someone running for President. He stood there and swayed for over 30 minutes. Something is very off with this man’s brain,” she added.
Meanwhile, Marvel actor and former wrestler Dave Bautista tried to undermine Trump’s tough-guy image during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
“Young, straight, white men love Donald Trump,” Kimmel prefaced a sketch, noting that they see him as a “macho, macho man.”
“Is he the strong Alpha Man many voters believe him to be? Not according to one of the toughest guys I know, he isn’t,” the ABC host continued.
Then Bautista, standing in a boxing ring, claimed that “A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not.”
“Look at him. He wears more makeup than Dolly Parton,” he quipped while an image of Trump appeared.
The segment went on to mock Trump’s past draft exemption due to bone spurs, his golf habits, and his physique, comparing his stomach to a “garbage bag full of buttermilk.”
Bautista’s jibes also included references to Trump’s difficulties with umbrellas and water bottles, which garnered cackles from the liberal audience.
He also claimed that Trump “cheats at golf,” “throws tantrums,” and “bends over for [Russian President Vladimir] Putin.”
