Billionaire “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban made a waves on Thursday when he claimed that Republican candidate Donald Trump rarely surrounds himself with “strong, intelligent women.”
On “The View,” Cuban said that Trump has stayed out of the orbit of former Republican contender Nikki Haley due to being “intimidated” by intelligent women.
On Tuesday, Haley challenged Trump’s campaign for its focus on “bromance and masculinity” while ignoring female voters.
“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women ever,” Cuban told the ABC show’s panel. “It’s just that simple, they’re intimidating to him.”

“He doesn’t like to be challenged by them,” he continued. “And you know, Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense with reproductive rights and how he sees and treats and talks about women.”
“I mean, he just can’t have her around, it wouldn’t work,” Cuban added.

Contrary to the Dallas Maverick’s owner’s commentary, Trump’s 2016 campaign featured women like Kellyanne Conway as a senior adviser and Susie Wiles, who led Florida operations, and remains a senior leader in the 2024 campaign.
His administration also included figures such as Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany as press secretaries, while Haley served as a UN ambassador.
Conway responded to Cuban’s remarks, labeling him a “misogynist” in a scathing video message on Thursday.
“Hey it’s Kellyanne Conway with a special message for Mark Cuban and all the other misogynists that support Kamala Harris and love to spew hateful, divisive, sexist rhetoric,” she began.
“[Trump] is unafraid to surround himself with strong intelligent, capable men and women,” her message from Washington, D.C. continued.
“Recognize this place? This is The Ellipse, where presently a strong intelligent woman is speaking… without a teleprompter,” she concluded with criticism of Harris’ reliance on scripts.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem threw her hat in the ring, challenging Cuban to a debate or even arm wrestling, declaring, “Game on, buddy.”
Lara Trump also jumped in, saying, “Just when you think the Kamala camp can’t possibly alienate and divide people any more than they already have…now they attack women who support Trump. Nice job, Mark.”
Trump’s National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement, asserting, “@mcuban this is extremely insulting to the thousands of women who work for President Trump, and the tens of millions of women who are proudly voting for him.”
“These women are mothers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. And yes, we are strong AND intelligent!” she added.
‘THE VIEW’ SETS RECORD STRAIGHT: After former Pres. Trump made claims on Joe Rogan’s podcast about a past visit to @TheView, Whoopi Goldberg and her fellow co-hosts weigh in with what really went down that day. pic.twitter.com/tDuEqqh8oh

On Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg noted her agreement with Hillary Clinton’s previous “deplorables” remark about Trump supporters.
During a panel on Biden’s comments labeling Trump supporters as “garbage,” Goldberg questioned the backlash against Biden, highlighting Trump’s previous derogatory labels for Democrats as “evil” and “dangerous.”
“So you know they’re working very hard to spin this to some crazy end, but this is my problem,” she contended.
“I don’t understand why all the pearl clutching over Biden’s statement. Why they all have a problem with what Biden said when what this other guy has said,” Goldberg added.
“Let’s see all the stuff he’s talked about what he’s called Democrats, evil, dangerous, marxists, communists, fascists, sick people, the enemy within and said all that just this week.”
Earlier in the week, she accused Trump of seeking to break up interracial couples and deport women of color, claiming, “What we heard at that rally should be enough to shake folks away ’cause he’s talking about you!”
“He’s not gonna say, oh you’re with a white guy, I’m going to keep you from being deported. No, he’s going to deport you and put the white guy with someone else! The man is out there!”
