Border Czar Tom Homan had a savage response to a popular a liberal Hollywood star sobbing over the government’s deportation efforts.
Actress Selena Gomez posted an emotional apology video after the Trump administration escalated endeavor to detain and deport criminal undocumented immigrants.
Meanwhile, Homan questioned her lack of concern for the children who have been sex trafficked across the southern border.
Over the past week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more than 2,000 undocumented migrants deemed “public safety and national security threats” since Trump’s presidency began.

These actions marked a stark increase in enforcement under executive orders signed by Trump.
A visibly tearful Gomez, who stars in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” addressed her followers in the video, apologizing and lamenting, “All my people are getting attacked.”
Written in the corner of the video was “I’m sorry,” next to an image of the Mexican flag. Breaking into tears, she added, “The children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.”

The clip, however, triggered immense backlash online, with social media observers criticizing Gomez.
Some questioned why she wasn’t using her reported $1.3 billion net worth to take concrete actions rather than merely expressing regret. Amid the rapid negative reactions, Gomez deleted the video.
Journalist Piers Morgan didn’t hold back, calling out Gomez for her post. “Posting yourself weeping over illegal immigrant criminals being deported is a new level of absurd celebrity narcissism,” Morgan said. Other prominent voices also joined the debate.
On her podcast, Megyn Kelly criticized Gomez, calling her a “sick person” for her emotional plea.
“She’s the one who starred in that ‘Emilia Perez,’ which is up for 13 Academy Awards, who’s pushing the [transgender] nonsense on Americans and American youth,” Kelly stated.
“I mean, I wonder if she’s got a thought for what happens to American youth who gets pushed into this when really all they had was like some family dysfunction and absolutely no gender confusion, but they get caught in this cult that has taken over, especially with young girls,” she continued.
I am not related to selena Gomez. Deport all the illegals, even if they fake cry.
I didn’t see her fake crying for the 300,000 missing children or hosting illegals in her mansions.

Kelly suggested Gomez’s “empathy” for those children is “not present,” and she “just wants to be part of the people who push it.”
She accused Gomez of seeking attention, saying, “She decides to go on Instagram and cry tears about, ‘Oh my God, all the illegal children,’ I guess, who might be subject to deportation.”
Kelly added, “She deleted it after her fans taught her that the majority of the country stands behind these policies.”
Though Kelly posited that she was probably “shocked” over the “blowback” she received about the video.
Homan also questioned Gomez’s level of “empathy” when he addressed her post directly on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Monday night.
“I met with hundreds of Angel moms and dads who are separated from their children because they buried them because they were killed by illegal aliens,” he noted.
Homan also highlighted the alarming number of children victimized by human trafficking at the border.
“We’ve got a half a million children who were sex trafficked into this country, separated from their families, put in the hands of criminal cartels to be smuggled into the country. This administration can’t find over 300,000. Where’s the tears for them?” he asked pointedly.
Drawing attention to the ongoing mass arrests, which Homan has “no apologies” for, he described ICE’s role in ensuring national security.

“The overdose of fentanyl is going to drop. Illegal alien crime is going to drop. Sex trafficking of women and children is going to drop,” he said confidently. “It’s worth the investment.”
Trump’s approach to immigration reform took bold steps through executive orders, including designating cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and declaring a national emergency at the southern border.
Homan openly commended these measures, highlighting the stark contrast to policies under the Biden administration.
“He’s gonna put the cartels out of business,” Homan said matter-of-factly. “He declared them a terrorist organization. We’ve got the whole of government—it’s going to dismantle these people and wipe them off the face of the earth.”
The former ICE director portrayed Trump’s strategy as aggressive but necessary. “We’re taking them out of the trafficking business. We’re taking them out of the smuggling business. We’re taking them out of the dope business.”
Doubling down on his endorsement, he characterized Trump’s plans as a one-time investment to bolster border security and protect American citizens.
