Controversial rapper Cardi B has taken aim at Donald Trump, claiming the former president’s presence at the Super Bowl created chaos that damaged her expensive designer shoes.
The “WAP” rapper said, “I’m f‑‑‑ing mad today” during a livestream to her 164 million Instagram followers.
She recounted her experience attending the game in New Orleans, where Trump became the first sitting president to attend Super Bowl LIX.
According to Cardi, Secret Service security measures made her Super Bowl experience much harder.

Security was intensified to accommodate Trump’s presence, and she revealed, “The Secret Service was not playing in that motherf‑‑‑ing stadium.”
The increased security forced her to walk instead of being driven through the stadium as “they stopped all the little carts and s–t because Trump was there.”
Showing a damaged spiked stiletto with a red sole to her camera, she expressed her frustration, blamingTrump for the mishap. “F‑‑‑ed up my shoe,” she said, and added angrily, “Shoe cost me three bands. All [because] of Trump!”

The “I Like It” performer didn’t stop there, announcing, “Now I like him lesser,” before sarcastically addressing the president, “You ain’t had to go to no damn Super Bowl.”
Cardi B capped her rant by tying the shoe disaster to a immigration-related grievance, saying, “Now he going to have to … bring my uncle to come back, because my uncle got deported.”
She provided no further information about her relative’s situation, but did acknowledge, “Well, he definitely ain’t going to do that.”
Meanwhile, the Secret Service gained significant attention during the Super Bowl for an entirely different reason.
Social media buzzed about a patriotic ad aired during the event, showcasing pivotal moments from American history and celebrating the role of the agency.
The advertisement featured scenes such as the attempted assassination of President Trump, notable quotes from former Presidents JFK and Reagan, the events of 9/11, and more.
“If you weren’t able to attend tonight’s big game, you missed a jumbotron highlight!” the Secret Service shared on the social platform X.
The agency stated the ad aimed to reflect on their 160 years of witnessing history and protecting the nation’s leaders.
Hollywood filmmaker Michael Bay directed the high-profile spot and reportedly conceptualized the tribute with the theme, “America was founded on an idea of freedom.”
Speaking about his involvement, Bay explained, “Throughout our short but powerful history as Americans, we have always stepped forward in time of need. This was a spot to honor the true silent heroes who protect the leaders of our democracy.”
While the ad reportedly cost $2 million to produce, the airtime for its broadcast during the Super Bowl was donated, enabling the agency to bypass the hefty price typically associated with such an audience.
Elsewhere, Super Bowl fever extended into unexpected drama involving Taylor Swift fans—often referred to as “Swifties.”
A group of Swift supporters lashed out at a family-owned business over comments made by Eagles player C.J. Gardner-Johnson about Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Gardner-Johnson, perhaps hoping to stir the pot, joked that Kelce “Should’ve stayed w that thick s***” during an Instagram story.

The comment referenced Kelce’s previous relationship with Kayla Nicole, a sports journalist he dated for years before beginning his romance with Swift.
The off-hand remark ignited sharp backlash from Swift’s ardent fanbase, who began reviewing bombing the restaurant owned by Gardner-Johnson’s parents, Brian and Delatron Johnson.
Swifties flooded the restaurant’s Yelp page with negative reviews that triggered the platform’s “unusual activity alert,” forcing them to temporarily disable its comments section. Google had to remove all recent reviews as well.
Do I have this right about CJ Gardner-Johnson and Kayla Nicole?
1 – he posted that shit about TK's ex because you don't "play with black women" (per video)?? yet he has 3 kids w/ 2 women (@ least one is black) & didn't marry either … and let's not even talk lack of child… pic.twitter.com/YiCIzhzkBS— LenaMonte (@Trying2Unplug) February 11, 2025
One fan reportedly even took things a step further by involving immigration authorities. According to Reddit screenshots, a Swiftie admitted to filing an ICE report targeting the family’s business in retaliation for Gardner-Johnson’s online jab.
“I made an ICE report on his mom’s business and don’t regret it,” the fan claimed, seemingly boastful about the extreme measure.
Surprisingly unbothered by the growing controversy, the Johnson family shrugged off the uproar.
Awful: #Chiefs fans and Swifties are leaving fake bad reviews to CJ Gardner-Johnson’s mother’s restaurant in Florida.
CJ's mother did NOT do anything, and they are putting her livelihood at risk.

“We’re good,” said Gardner-Johnson’s mother, Del, when contacted about the situation. Brian, her husband, echoed her relaxed sentiment, revealing that the restaurant at the center of the swirl had already been shuttered, with a new location set to open soon.
The family appeared amused, dismissing the online indulgences of Swift’s infamously protective fans, while asserting their business “was going to be fine regardless.”
