Donald Trump Jr. did not hold back in his criticism of a group of anonymous Republican senators who called out Vice President J.D. Vance’s foreign policy stance.
In an interview with Jewish Insider, Trump Jr. called these GOP lawmakers “pussies” for attacking Vance behind closed doors rather than attaching their name to the criticism.
The controversy stems from a leaked Signal group chat, where government officials discussed the recent U.S. strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen.
Some Senate Republicans were reportedly displeased with Vance for questioning whether the proposed military action aligned with America’s best interests.
How much do you want to bet that the 7 RINO Senators anonymously crying about @JDVance to the leftist media are some of the same ones who have constantly trashed my father behind his back for years? https://t.co/d1QX1DOx7p

According to Jewish Insider, these senators have privately voiced their frustration, particularly regarding Vance’s reluctance to endorse military intervention that he sees as primarily benefiting European allies rather than the United States.
As reported by The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, who inadvertently gained access to the chat, Vance raised concerns about the necessity of the strikes.
“3 percent of US trade runs through the Suez,” Vance wrote. “40 percent of European trade does.”
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth attempted to justify the strikes, to which Vance responded, “If you think we should do it let’s go. I just hate bailing Europe out again.”
Hegseth replied, “I fully share your loathing of European free-loading. It’s PATHETIC.”
Further in the conversation, Vance pointed out the potential economic consequences, particularly regarding oil prices.
“I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now,” he wrote.
“There’s a further risk that we see a moderate to severe spike in oil prices. I am willing to support the consensus of the team and keep these concerns to myself,” he told the group chat.
“But there is a strong argument for delaying this a month, doing the messaging work on why this matters, seeing where the economy is, etc.”
Vance’s private comments reflect his longstanding skepticism toward Europe’s handling of its own security.
Earlier this year, he told Fox News that “Europe is at risk, I think, of engaging in civilizational suicide,” criticizing the continent for its weak stance on immigration.
While some Republican senators support Vance’s approach, others, speaking anonymously, have described his perspective as “very disappointing.”
One GOP senator told Jewish Insider that Vance’s reluctance to confront the Houthi threat was troubling, while another suggested his stance “reveals a mindset that I’m sure is perplexing to our European allies.”
Trump Jr. was quick to fire back at these unnamed critics, slamming them as spineless.
“These seven cowardly neocons attacking J.D. anonymously are genuine pussies,” he declared.
“If they really feel this way, then they should at least be man enough to put their names to these quotes,” he continued.
“The fact that they are too cowardly to do that is exactly why I’m so happy that these RINOs are a dying breed in our party – whether they realize it or not.”

Trump Jr. also took a swipe against Goldberg on Tuesday over his clear political bias.
“Why doesn’t Jeffrey Goldberg disclose to readers in his stories that he is a registered Democrat?” He asked in a post on X. “His wife also worked for Hillary Clinton and has donated nearly $25k to Democrats.”
On Thursday morning he added, “How much do you want to bet that the 7 RINO Senators anonymously crying about @JDVance to the leftist media are some of the same ones who have constantly trashed my father behind his back for years?”
Meanwhile, Trump Jr.’s personal life made headlines after a virtual appearance at the DC Blockchain Summit 2025, where eagle-eyed viewers spotted framed photos of his former fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, on his bookshelf.

Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, who began dating in 2018 following his divorce from Vanessa Trump, were engaged in 2020 but reportedly ended their relationship in late 2024.
The breakup came amid speculation that Trump Jr. had grown close to Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson.
Vanessa Trump’s romantic life has also drawn attention recently after she was linked to golf legend Tiger Woods, a relationship that the athlete had reportedly hoped to keep under wraps.
According to insiders speaking to the Daily Mail, Woods was initially reluctant to go public, knowing that dating a member of the Trump family would thrust him into the spotlight.
A source close to Woods said, “He knew it would be a huge story when it came out and he didn’t exactly love it.”
“But obviously, Tiger dating a Trump is always going to make headlines, which is exactly what he wanted to avoid,” they reported.

The couple’s relationship had been rumored for some time within the elite circles of the Benjamin School in Palm Beach, where Woods’ children and Vanessa’s daughter are students.
A member of Woods’ inner circle remarked, “Benjamin is like a small community, and there’s nothing that rich people like to do more than gossip about each other. Frankly, I’m surprised that it was secret for so long.”
The two reportedly avoided public outings together to maintain their privacy. “They just quietly did their thing,” said the insider. “But Tiger isn’t one to get kissy or handsy in public anyway.”
On Sunday, Woods finally confirmed the relationship with a social media post, sharing photos of himself and Vanessa Trump.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” he wrote. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.”
Former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump publicly endorsed Vanessa’s new relationship with Woods. “So happy for you both!” Ivanka replied to the post along with two smiling face emojis with red hearts.
