President Donald Trump isn’t letting up in his ongoing feud with aging rocker Bruce Springsteen, taking to social media platform Wednesday morning to escalate the spat with a hilarious mocking video.
The video shared from Trump’s X account shows the president swinging a golf club, edited alongside footage of Springsteen stumbling up a flight of stairs during a 2023 concert.
The clip appears to be a direct response to Springsteen’s recent on-stage rant, which reignited the long-standing friction between the two public figures.
Springsteen, who launched his “Land of Hopes and Dreams” tour in the United Kingdom last week, spent part of his opening performance attacking Trump and his administration.

“In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” he told the crowd.
“Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”
The longtime Democrat took further shots at President Trump during his two-and-a-half-hour set.

He criticized policies targeting illegal immigration and claimed the administration was “rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society.”
President Trump responded with characteristic bluntness, branding Springsteen “a dried out prune of a rocker” and stating, “He ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just ‘standard fare’. Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”

On Monday, Trump turned up the heat, demanding a “major investigation” into Springsteen and other performers who supported Vice President Kamala Harris during her 2020 campaign.
“Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment,” Trump wrote, alleging financial impropriety.
“In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds,” he continued.
“IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic ‘entertainers,’ this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system.”
Springsteen was among several artists who performed at campaign events for Biden and Harris, but the president’s recent push for an investigation has reignited the controversy.
Fellow aging rocker Neil Young also entered the fray, unleashing a stream of attacks on Trump through his website.
In a post that ranged from casual insults to political accusations, Young questioned Trump’s focus and patriotism.
“What are you worryin’ about man?” he asked rhetorically. “Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America.”
He then shifted his attention to global issues, writing, “You worry about that instead of the dyin’ kids in Gaza. That’s your problem,” before indicating his support for anti-Israel protesters.
Neil Young says he stands with Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen.
“Bruce and thousands of musicians think you are ruining America. You worry about that instead of the dyin’ kids in Gaza…I am not scared of you.… Think about saving America from the mess you made.

The 78-year-old “Old Man” singer wasn’t done. “I am not scared of you,” he insisted, apparently believing he had something to fear.
Referencing natural disasters and federal response under Biden-era FEMA policies, Young wrote, “You shut down FEMA when we needed it most.”
He followed with, “STOP THINKING ABOUT WHAT ROCKERS ARE SAYING,” and added, “Think about saving America from the mess you made.”
Young, echoing sentiments from others musicians on the left, claimed, “Taylor Swift is right. So is Bruce. You know how I feel. You are more worried about yourself than America. Wake up Trump!! Remember what the White House is?”
That comment followed Trump’s recent musing about Swift, in which he questioned her ongoing popularity.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” he posted on Truth Social.
Young’s post went on to reference to the phrase “86/47”—a combination that has stirred controversy since it first appeared in an Instagram photo posted by former FBI Director James Comey.
“86/47??? That’s what you think about? You are forgetting your real job,” Young wrote.
“You work for us, Wake up Republicans! This guy is out of control. We need a real president.”
Comey’s since-deleted Instagram post displayed seashells arranged in the pattern “86 47,” drew immediate backlash.
The phrase, widely interpreted as a coded call to eliminate Trump, the 47th president, sparked condemnation from Trump’s allies and prompted questions from federal authorities.
In a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Comey claimed the photo was innocent, but managed to throw his wife under the bus.

According to him, his wife Patrice originally thought the shell arrangement resembled an address, but then allegedly joked it could be a restaurant reference.
“You know what I think it is? I think it’s a reference to restaurants when you would 86 something,” he claimed she said.
Comey himself admitted to considering other meanings. “I said, ‘No, I remember when I was a kid, you would say 86 to get out of a place. ‘This place stinks — let’s 86 it.’”
Colbert chimed in, offering his own barroom interpretation, claiming “86” could also mean serving low-proof alcohol to drunk patrons.
“So I said, I think it’s a clever political message,” Comey explained. “She said, ‘You should take a picture of it.’ I said, ‘Sure.’ And then she said, ‘You should Instagram that.’ And boom.”
Colbert then noted that Trump didn’t find the shell photo clever at all.
According to the president, even “a child” could see what message it was sending.
Comey admitted to being questioned by the Secret Service, but said the interaction was routine.
“All they did was act like pros, and they are pros, just said, ‘What did you intend? What did you understand? Why did you do this?’ And I gave them the same explanation, which is the truth, and I would expect it to go away.”
