Comedian Roseanne Barr, a two-time supporter of President Donald Trump, stunned social media after publicly calling out the president for dismissing renewed interest in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal as “unbelievable.”
“Mr. President- Yes, we still care about Epstein,” Barr wrote Tuesday on social media.
“Is there a time to not care about child sex trafficking? Read the damn room.”
The post came hours after President Trump deflected a question about a Department of Justice memo stating there was no “incriminating ‘client list'” linked to Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.

The DOJ’s “systematic review” of the “Epstein files” also stated that “no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions,” and that there was no further cause for investigation.
During a Cabinet meeting earlier that day, Trump reacted dismissively to the subject.
“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years,” the president said.
“We have Texas, we have all the things. Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable!”
When pressed on reports of a missing minute of prison surveillance footage from the day Epstein died, Trump again brushed off the question.
“I can’t believe you’re asking questions about Epstein at a time like this, where we’re having some of the greatest success, and also tragedy with what happened in Texas…. It just seems like a desecration.”
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, who has been leading DOJ review efforts, attempted to explain the controversy around the missing footage during the meeting.
According to Bondi, the gap was not unique to the Epstein case and happens daily.
“There was a minute that was off the counter, and what we learned from the Bureau of Prisons is every night they redo that video… every night should have the same minute missing,” Bondi said.
She added that the DOJ intends to release footage from other nights to prove that the glitch is routine.
“We’re looking for that video to release that as well, to show that a minute is missing every night, and that’s it on Epstein,” she concluded decisively.
Despite Bondi’s explanation, critics were quick to voice frustration over the abrupt dismissal.
Bondi previously teased a major reveal in the case, stating on Fox News in February that an Epstein client list was “sitting on my desk right now to review.”
How can they say there's no Epstein client list when Pam Bondi said in this Fox News interview that it's sitting on her desk for review
Why is Ghislaine Maxwell is doing (20) years in prison..?

This week, she clarified that she was referring to the broader Epstein case file, not a literal list.
She also addressed previous statements suggesting the existence of incriminating videos.
“They turned out to be child p**n downloaded by that disgusting Jeffrey Epstein,” Bondi said, without specifying when or how the videos were discovered.
Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, also weighed in, mocking the Trump administration’s handling of the ongoing controversy.
“Every time they say something or do something to try to quash the fact that he was most likely murdered, they just put their foot further down their mouths,” he told Chris Cuomo of NewsNation.
Barr, who has maintained strong support for Trump even after being shunned by Hollywood, appeared to reach a breaking point with the administration’s handling of the Epstein saga.
In a follow-up to her social media post, she wrote, “I’ve slowly walked away from social media because it’s obviously just a brainwashing machine, but between Epstein, Nazis and Texas floods it’s hard to stay quiet.”
I have slowly walked away from social media because it’s obviously just a brainwashing machine, but between Epstein, Nazis and Texas floods it’s hard to stay quiet. The best thing you can do is spread love and then leave. Don’t come here to argue with evil people. It’s not good…

Her relationship with Trump and his team has not been without disappointment.
In January, she revealed feeling saddened by being excluded from the former president’s inner circle. “It really hurt my feelings,” Barr said.
Barr’s entertainment career took a sharp turn in 2018 when ABC canceled her hit rebooted sitcom Roseanne after she made a racially charged tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a former aide to Michelle Obama.
Despite her public apology and deletion of the tweet, the network quickly removed her from the show and cancelled it.
The network pivoted with a spinoff, The Conners, which excluded Barr and recently concluded its seven-season run.
Despite being kept out of Trump’s inner circle, her support for the president has not wavered.
In January, she collaborated with Canadian rapper Tom MacDonald to release a music video titled “Daddy’s Home” in support of Trump.
She also previously declared Trump the “greatest president of all time” following his military action against Iranian nuclear sites.
