Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced her new course at Columbia University with a video skit that was universally panned, but vastly improved upon by Fox News host Greg Gutfeld.
“Will her new foreign policy class change minds that she’s a horse’s a-s,” Gutfeld joked on his Friday night show.
“Believe me, no one’s more thrilled to have Hillary out of the house than Bill.”
“Speaking of Bill, if you’re a lady who is a solid eight or above, he’ll tutor you for free,” he teed up. “The course he’s teaching – how to fit snugly under my desk.”
Clinton and co-teacher, Keren Yarhi-Milo, filmed a cheesy skit this to announce their upcoming Fall 2023 course, “Inside the Situation Room.”
The video, which was released this week by the university, featured students and Yarhi-Milo gushing about how Clinton’s “running again,” which goes on until the former Obama official herself skitters into the classroom.
“Well, I sure am, Keren, I just got here early for the new class we’re teaching together on foreign policy decision-making,” Clinton remarks.
“Classes don’t start until September,” Yarhi-Milo shoots back in shock.
“Yeah, but I wanted to be prepared Keren,” Clinton replies knowingly. “You know, when it comes to crisis situations you’ve always got to be prepared.”
The skit lamely concludes with a pair of women’s legs in black pants and heel boots slow running up to a set of stairs at the school.
A press release from Columbia University said the class will “allow students to engage with a range of case studies and examine decision-making in a variety of historical and contemporary contexts, from the search for Osama bin Laden, to the “red line” in Syria, to negotiating with Iran.”
Clinton’s own decision making came under fire by online critics that don’t believe that the former politician has any business shaping the minds of young Americans.
“Hillary Clinton teaching a class at Columbia,” someone mocked. “Probably should be named ‘Political Corruption’ or ‘How To Off Your Enemies.'”
“Hillary Clinton is going to teach Columbia students how to start more foreign wars in her new class at the university,” snarked conservative Twitter account Amuse.
“Hillary Clinton teaching a Foreign Policy class is the same energy as Dylan Mulvaney educating women on periods and how to be a woman,” someone else wrote.
Unlike Clinton’s internet haters, Gutfeld decided to remix the video to “improve it.” During the video’s “she’s running again” gag, the Fox News host inserted some extra footage of student reactions.
“That old bag who destroyed Libya,” responded one conservative student.
“What, isn’t that the lady who killed Jeffrey Epstein,” another faux student reacts.
In the next scene, rather than running into the classroom, Clinton limps in dragging her right leg.
The video concludes with footage from the former Secretary of State tripping while boarding her plane during a 2011 flight out of Yemen.
Gutfeld and his guest commentators had hilarious reactions to the promo video.
“When you have to use a stunt double to simulate a light jog, maybe you ditch the running bit,” said comedian Joey Derosa.
“The fact that somebody was actually on a Blackberry going, ‘she’s running again,'” noted Tyrus. “This was the worst commercial I’ve ever… They hate her … She has zero personality.”
“The only thing that was good about this one, is her daughter [Chelsea Clinton] wasn’t in it with her,” he zinged. “That was the only thing that was different, she cut her out.”
“Hillary’s performance in this video was more heartbreaking to me than Brendan Fraser’s in The Whale,” Derosa cracked.
