Megyn Kelly revealed that she and former President Donald Trump have apparently reconciled after their heated feud following the 2015 GOP debate.
The dispute stemmed from Kelly’s role as a Fox News moderator, when she questioned Trump about derogatory remarks he made towards women.
During her SiriusXM show, The Megyn Kelly Show, the podcast host shared that she had a one-on-one with Trump at the Turning Point Action conference in Palm Beach, Florida, “for the first time in years.”
“It was, frankly, great to see him. You know, all that nonsense between us is under the bridge and he could not have been more magnanimous,” she said about the encounter.
Reflecting on their past “ups and downs,” Kelly stated that there was a valuable lesson in their recent interaction.
“If you can be quick to sort of get past these confrontations and these negative experiences, you can open up such possibility for yourself, you can open up a field of wellness, of positivity, of good relationships,” she lamented.
Kelly sees her improved relationship with Trump as evidence that people can change, rebuild relationships, and move forward in a positive way.
She seemed to be in awe of how Trump “commands the room” when he walks in, which she noted is not because “he’s the former president.”
“There’s just something about him. It’s like an aura that sort of takes over the room,” the former Fox News star said. “There’s only one person you can look at.”
Kelly noted that even as far back as his time on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, his presence was the same.
“Trump walks in. The whole room turns. “It’s Donald Trump.” Well, even more so now,” she explained.

Their verbal war started during the 2015 debate, when Kelly asked Trump about his lack of “politician’s filter,” which she claimed wasn’t without it’s negatives.
“In particular when it comes to women. You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals—” she remarked before Trump cut her off.
He joked that those comments were only applicable “to Rosie O’Donnell.”
After the event, Trump attributed Kelly’s line of questioning to PMS. “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever,” he said.
Eight years later, and all seems to be forgiven on both sides, as Kelly heard Trump tell the crowd that she was “great” on Saturday night.
“He could not have been nicer or more generous,” Kelly gushed on her Monday show.
She also had some insight on if Trump planned to spar with fellow Republicans in the primary debates.
“[Trump] had some interesting thoughts about the debates, whether he’s going to attend,” Kelly revealed.
“I wouldn’t bet on it. I would not bet on him attending, at least, not that first Fox News debate.”

Kelly also spoke with fellow ex-Fox News colleague Tucker Carlson at the event, and had a warning for her former employer about the jaw dropping things they privately discussed.
“Fox News has not yet sued Tucker, and all I’ll tell you is, they should not,” she stated definitively.
“It would be a mistake, as I’ve said before but I believe it even more strongly now than ever,” Kelly warned. “Don’t do it, Fox, you’re going to be really sorry.”
The SiriusXM star refused to divulge the details, but hinted that she would reveal more in due time.
“It’s not going to end well for you or anyone on your side if you go after him,” she advised the network. “Just let him go. You fired him.”
“He wants to get back the money, just wants to make a living doing news, just let him. Don’t Be dumb,” Kelly implored. “And so in any event, more on that, as I said, as time passes.”
