Fox News host Greg Gutfeld confronted another panelist on “The Five,” who argued that former President Donald Trump deserved all four of his indictments.
A grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, has charged Trump and 18 others for their alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in the state.
During Tuesday’s show, co-host former Democrat Congressman Harold Ford Jr. stated that Trump should not be immune from criminal charges simply because of his presidential campaign, and asserted that the indictments were legally justified.
Gutfeld responded by questioning the severity of the four indictments, expressing skepticism about the motivations behind them and suggesting a political bias against Trump.
Gutfeld on Trump indictment:
"It's all bullshit. It's nonstop. We know this is designed to banish, and isolate, and destroy a political outsider."

“You don’t think this is totally over the top?” he questioned. “It’s all nonstop, we know this is designed to banish an isolated, destroy a political outsider who predicted this.”
“Don’t mess with the intel agencies,” he warned. “They’ll arrest your team and keep it off the field.”
Ford continued to probe Gutfeld, asking if he believed Trump had done nothing wrong in and out of office, but the host didn’t back down on his stance.
“He is probably one of the most troubling, consequential figures in history, but no. He doesn’t deserve any of this,” Gutfeld remarked.
Panelist Judge Jeanine Pirro questioned the timing of the indictments, suggesting that they were a politically motivated response to his campaign announcement.
Ford argued that a thorough investigation takes time to complete, but Pirro shot back that “It doesn’t take two and a half years to get indicted!”
Thank you so much @seanhannity for having me on to discuss David Weiss being appointed to Special Counsel. Always a blast! ✨ pic.twitter.com/UYL6JnwKrz

In another Tuesday segment on Martha MacCallum’s “The Story,” Pirro said that Hunter Biden’s voided plea deal was a “classic bait-and-switch” move by special prosecutor David Weiss.
The first son pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and a felony gun charge, when federal Judge Maryellen Noreika poked holes in his plea deal at the end of July.
Pirro said that Weiss, “was really a defense attorney” that was “putting on his prosecutor hat” and decided to go “tough” on Hunter, after presenting Noreika with the agreement in the first place.
The Fox News star argued that the diversion deal was contingent on the package presented to the judge, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the charges.
If Biden didn’t plead guilty to the two misdemeanor tax charges, the diversion for the gun charge would be out of reach.
When MacCallum asked what it meant that Weiss was heading to California to prosecute, Pirro suggested that it indicated a sinking ship.
“It’s like you can see the feet going under the water now of this duck,” MacCallum stated.
Attorney General Merrick Garland didn’t give an explanation about why he appointed Weiss as special counsel last Friday.
During the public announcement, Garland noted that Weiss’s investigation “reached a stage” that required the designation, due to the “extraordinary circumstances” of the matter.
IRS whistleblowers and GOP lawmakers suggested that Weiss required the powers because his previous status as a US attorney in Delaware limited his ability to file charges in other jurisdictions.
During a House Oversight Committee hearing on July 19, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler spoke about interference with the Biden investigation.
They testified that the Justice Department had prevented Weiss from filing felony charges for tax evasion in California and Washington, DC.
When MacCallum asked what it meant that Weiss was heading to California to prosecute, Pirro suggested that it indicated a sinking ship.
