Las Vegas Raiders’ Brock Bowers was cut off by his team after he shared his thoughts about the Trump-inspired touchdown celebration he performed against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night.
Bowers snagged a touchdown pass late in the third quarter courtesy of Gardner Minshew II, and was caught on camera doing a dance move as the touchdown narrowed their gap to five points.
Unfortunately for the Raiders, Miami racked up 17 points in the final quarter, securing a 34-19 victory, but Bower’s Trump dance still went viral.
“I’ve seen everyone do it,” Bowers told reporters at a post-game presser. “I watched the UFC fight last night and Jon Jones did it. I like watching UFC, so I saw it and thought it was cool.”
Asked Brock Bowers about his Trump TD celly: “I’ve seen everyone do it. I watched the UFC fight last night and Jon Jones did it. I like watching UFC so I saw it, and thought it was cool.”
Raiders PR ended his postgame availability after my question.

During one of the most significant heavyweight title fights in UFC history, Jones executed the dance while the President-elect himself was sitting belly up to the ring at Madison Square Garden.
Trump showed his appreciation for Jones’ rendition outside the octagon with a thumbs up, leading to an exchange between the two following the event’s conclusion.
“A big, big thank you to President Donald Trump for being here tonight,” Jones told Joe Rogan after the match ended.

“I’m proud to be a great American champion. I’m proud to be a Christian American champion.”
Immediately after, Jones handed Trump his world heavyweight championship belt, and was invited to visit the White House after he’s sworn in.

After Bowers name dropped Trump and Jones, his team immediately cut his post-game session with the press short.
“Asked Brock Bowers about his Trump TD celly,” tweeted journalist Safid Deen. “Raiders PR ended his postgame availability after my question.”
The NFL witnessed several athletes mimicking Trump’s dance on Sunday. Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine of the Tennessee Titans and Za’Darius Smith along with Malcolm Rodriguez of the Detroit Lions joined in on the trend.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa started the trend last week after tackling Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield, with his teammates joining the act.
“I think you know the answer to that question,” Bosa said about the Trump-inspired dance, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
“All the guys wanted me to do it. I wasn’t even going to do it, but the boys reminded me. And it was fun.”
CBS faced criticism after some irate NFL fans accused them of editing out Bowers’ celebration.
CBS captured Bowers’ celebration live during the game broadcast, and the NFL also shared both his touchdown and subsequent dance on social media.
However, CBS chose to upload a shorter video that concluded just before Bowers executed Trump’s well-known two-handed shuffle.
Fans expressed their displeasure after seeing the clip, alleging CBS intentionally omitted Bowers’ celebration.
“Cutting out the Trump dance celebration? Wow. This is why CBS is a joke,” one user commented on X.
Another said regarding Trump’s election victory, “CBS. This is why he won. You’re part of the problem. Review your code of ethics.”

Several posts on X revealed a procession of flag-waving, sign-bearing, and horn-blaring vehicles cruising through Coast Village Road in Montecito, boldly expressing support for the president-elect.
The spirited display likely came as a surprise to the numerous wealthy liberal stars—some of the Democratic party’s largest donors—residing in the Santa Barbara suburb.
