President-elect Donald Trump released a pointed video montage targeting liberals, showcasing their denial over President Joe Biden’s alleged cognitive decline throughout 2024.
His Truth Social post, a nearly three-minute clip with no caption that was set to old school video game theme music, features multiple high-profile figures in the media and politics all commending Biden’s sharpness.
The video begins with former CNN star Don Lemon asking White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if Biden has the physical and mental stamina to continue in his role as president beyond 2024.
Jean-Pierre seems stunned that Lemon would even deign to ask her the question and claims that she can’t “even keep up with him.”
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appears next to assure Americans that “the most difficult part about a meeting with President Biden is preparing for it.”
Because, as Mayorkas alleges with a straight face, “he is sharp, intensely probing, and detail oriented, and focused.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi eventually shows up to laud Biden as someone with “a vision, he has knowledge, he is… a strategic thinker.” She appeared several more times throughout the video to repeat a similar message.
Throughout the video, a wide array of high-ranking Democrats are highlighted, including Senator Chris Coons, who calls Biden “engaging” and “capable,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who said that Biden is “at the top of his game.”
Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders chimed in to say Biden “seemed fine” to him, while Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the House Appropriations Committee that he has “complete confidence in the president.”
“I have watched him expertly guide meetings of staff and cabinet members,” he added. “I could not have more confidence in the president.”
The sentiment was echoed by General Mark Milley who claimed every time he meets Biden, the president is “just fine.”
Dr. Jill also appeared in footage that was pulled from her May visit to the ultra-liberal sets of ABC’s “The View,” and CNN’s “Morning Joe.”
“You’re going to see how smart he is and the experience he has,” she said at the time. “I say his age is an asset … He’s wise, he has wisdom, he has experience.”
Representatives Jamie Raskin and Jim Clyburn also lauded Biden’s “wisdom” and capability.
While Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer insisted Biden was “fine,” and reports that his mental acuity was declining were “right-wing propaganda.”
Trump’s video was posted after criticism emerged from CBS correspondent Jan Crawford regarding the lack of mainstream media coverage addressing Biden’s mental fitness.
Crawford, CBS’ chief legal correspondent, called out outlets like her own network for failing to openly report Biden’s decline until it became undeniable following the disastrous televised debate against Trump.

During CBS’s “Face the Nation” year-end roundtable, she declared that the most underreported issue of the year was “Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline that became undeniable in the televised debate.”
She accused journalists of failing to adequately press Biden’s advisers on his evident decline, noting that stronger scrutiny of his “mental incompetence” could have prompted a Democratic primary challenge.
Her commentary cited an investigative piece from The Wall Street Journal that surfaced earlier in December.
The report detailed how senior White House officials allegedly worked to shield Biden’s diminishing rapidly declining cognitive abilities from the public by controlling his in-person appearances and limiting access to him.
Crawford didn’t mince words, slamming Biden’s “delusional” team for maintaining that he was capable of re-election despite the visible effort to hide his lapses.
She labeled these instances as reflective of mismanagement, criticizing advisers who insisted that Biden could ‘still run’ despite their extreme efforts to manage his limitations.
Crawford took aim specifically at left-leaning media outlets, particularly The Washington Post, for what she described as perpetuating “gaslighting” narratives.
“Still, incredibly, we read in The Washington Post that his advisers are saying that he regrets that he dropped out of the race, that he thinks he could have beaten Trump,” she said.
“And I think that is either delusional or they’re gaslighting the American people.”
The Washington Post recently reported that Biden privately regrets stepping down from the 2024 election.
According to anonymous sources cited in the article, Biden has confided that he believes he could have secured a second term had he not been pressured by party operatives to exit the race.
He reportedly expressed frustration with his decision to appoint Merrick Garland as attorney general, feeling that Garland’s slow pace in prosecuting Donald Trump over the January 6 Capitol riot proved to be a strategic mistake.
Biden now reportedly believes someone else would have handled Trump’s criminal investigations more swiftly, possibly curbing his political resurgence ahead of the election cycle.
The lengthy and cautious investigation under Attorney General Garland allowed Trump to evade public trials that could have posed significant political damage, effectively limiting Democrats’ leverage.
“Aides say the president has been careful not to place blame on Harris or her campaign,” the outlet added.
