California Democratic Rep. Robert Garcia lashed out at DOGE Chair Elon Musk, calling him a “d***” while criticizing the group’s efforts to cut down frivolous government spending.
At the inaugural Oversight Subcommittee hearing on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Garcia displayed what he referred to as a ‘d–k pic,” but was actually a photo of the tech mogul, who he referred to as “President Musk.”
“I find it ironic, of course, that our chairwoman, Congresswoman [Marjorie Taylor] Greene, is in charge of running this committee,” Garcia began.
“Now, in the last Congress, Chairwoman Greene literally showed a d*** pic in our oversight congressional hearing, so I thought I’d bring one as well.”

Greene previously revealed explicit content from Hunter Biden’s laptop during a congressional hearing.
Garcia took aim at DOGE’s mission, labeling it a “demolition plan that’s gonna run through our government” and accusing Musk of “ripping away opportunities from children with disabilities.”
On the other hand, Greene warned about the ballooning national debt, which currently teeters around $36 trillion.

“That is such a stunning amount of money. It’s absolutely staggering to even comprehend how we as a people, we as a country, found ourselves here,” she stated.
“This is not a Democrat problem. This is not a Republican problem. This is an American problem.”
Greene broke down the gravity of the situation, explaining, “Even if we decided to defund the entire federal government, we cannot escape our debt and the compounding interest owed on our debt, which grows bigger and bigger every year.”
She cautioned that “our crippling national debt and massively growing interest on our debt will destroy us—not destroy one political party or the other. It will destroy all of us together.”

Greene highlighted the role of DOGE, which was born out of public frustration over government mismanagement.
“The American people’s anger over this betrayal is what gave birth to the concept of DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency,” she explained.
“In fact, DOGE became a major part of President Trump’s campaign and led to his overwhelming victory in November.”
Greene said the committee must transcend partisan bickering to tackle the issue.
“While we are a committee made up of the opposite far-reaching corners of Congress, we were each elected to serve and represent the American people and how their hard-earned tax dollars are spent.”
“This is not a time for political theater and partisan attacks,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, Tuesday night brought fresh controversy on CNN when Anderson Cooper engaged in a heated debate with former New Hampshire GOP Governor Chris Sununu over Musk and DOGE’s alleged lack of transparency.
Clearly frustrated, Cooper called Sununu a “d*ck” on live TV. The fireworks began when Cooper accused DOGE of failing to present clear evidence to justify its operations.
Former NH Governor Chris Sununu just completely destroyed Anderson Cooper in a back and forth about Elon Musk and DOGE.
Cooper responded by angrily telling Sununu to not be a “d*ck” on live tv.

“It amounts to a series of press releases, which is not really the same as transparency… It’s not transparency, either. It’s a tweet,” he began.
Sununu fired back, saying the CNN moderator had omitted key details.
“Musk gave seven specific examples off the top of his head of where the corruption and fraud were. I know you didn’t play the clips,” he retorted.
Sununu fired off examples of a contractor with three-month job being paid for two decades and welfare benefits continuing to go out to someone who was 150 years old.

“But we didn’t see any of that,” Cooper argued. “There’s no any—like he doesn’t present any actual evidence.”
Sununu pushed back. “He’s standing there in the Oval Office. Do you expect him to come in with 10,000 pages?” he asked incredulously.
“And I have to be clear: To complain about this administration about transparency when this president takes open questions on a daily basis, yet Joe Biden didn’t show up for a press conference—six months is insane.”
Sununu continued, “These guys are being extremely transparent. They don’t have to sit there and take the questions, but they do. It’s all on the website. It’s all out there.”
Jeffrey Toobin, a vocal critic and former prosecutor, jumped into the debate, stating, “It’s not transparency to say things that have no factual background.”
“I mean to say we’re cutting—you know, we’ve found $1 billion or $1 trillion in waste with no specifics,” he continued. “That’s just talk, that’s not transparency.”
Sununu dismissed these criticisms, replying, “It is 23 days in here, guys, 23 days. You’re talking about $2.3 billion that was saved last year. These guys are saving $2.3 billion a day. That’s incredible.”
Toobin doubled down, questioning the validity of the claims, “That’s what they’re saying. But where’s the proof?”
“You’re not going to be satisfied until he shows up with 10,000 pages?” Sununu asked, defending Musk and DOGE.
“He’s giving very specific things, but he’s not actually giving any evidence of that,” Cooper chimed in.
“It’s all going to come because what they also said was, if we have to go to Congress, we will go to Congress,” Sununu explained.
Cooper, however, remained skeptical. “But where are some of the details that have come out like the, you know, $59 million spent on luxury hotels. It’s actually not—” he began before Sununu interrupted.
“You’re talking about the FEMA money that was used for migrants? That was FEMA money for migrants. That’s okay now?” Sununu shot back.
Cooper insisted, “No, I’m not saying it’s okay. Don’t put words in my mouth.”
Sununu kept pressing, “Would you stop that? Would you stop that process?”
“Don’t be a d*ck,” Cooper retorted.
Moments later, Cooper offered an apology to Sununu. “Before we go, I want to apologize. I was mean; I was rude to you.”
