President Trump dismissed nationwide “No Kings” protests as nothing more than a “joke,” pushing back on claims that he’s behaving like a monarch while hilariously mocking demonstrators who filled streets across the country this weekend.
“I’m not a king. I work my a** off to make our country great. That’s all it is. I’m not a king at all,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One as he returned to Washington from Florida.
Millions of demonstrators took part in the so-called “No Kings” rallies on Saturday, staging roughly 2,600 events in all 50 states.
Massive crowds were reported in cities like Washington, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, where protesters carried banners depicting the president in royal attire.

But while activists called the demonstrations a stand against authoritarianism, Trump and his team turned the tables, using humor to ridicule what they view as another left-wing stunt.
Late Saturday night, the president posted an AI-generated video to Truth Social showing him flying a fighter jet with “King Trump” painted on the side.
Wearing a gold crown and military uniform, Trump’s digital likeness flies over protesters in New York as Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” plays in the background.

Trump also shared another AI image, a fake Time magazine cover that featured him wearing a crown, captioned “Long Live the King.”

Vice President JD Vance jumped into the mix, posting his own spoof video of Trump as a king wearing a cape and holding a sword while Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, kneel before him.
The imagery appeared to parody a 2020 photo of Pelosi and other lawmakers wearing traditional African stoles and taking a knee in honor of George Floyd.
In a Fox News interview taped prior to the demonstrations, Trump addressed the accusations directly.
🚨 WOW! President Trump just DROPPED THE MIC on "No Kings"
"By the way, I'm not a KING. I work my A*S OFF to make our country great. That's all it is."
"It's a joke. I looked at the people…all the brand new signs. It was paid for by Soros and radical left lunatics…we're… pic.twitter.com/AKkOCz0wRc

“They’re referring to me as a king. I’m not a king,” he said during the appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
This weekend’s rallies marked the second wave of “No Kings” protests since Trump returned to office.
The first occurred in June, coinciding with the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary parade, which also fell on Trump’s 79th birthday.

Trump brushed off the weekend’s gatherings as astroturfed events bankrolled by major Democratic donors. “I think it’s a joke,” he said Sunday. “I looked at the people — they’re not representative of this country.”
“And I looked at all the brand new signs… I guess it was paid for by [George] Soros and other radical left lunatics. It looks like it was. We’re checking it out.”
He added that the demonstrations were “very small, very ineffective,” and filled with “whacked out” individuals.

“When you look at those people, those are not representative of the people of our country,” Trump said.
Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign and White House staff continued to poke fun at the protests.
On Instagram, TeamTrump shared another AI-generated video depicting Trump in regal attire standing before the White House as Andrea Bocelli’s voice played over the scene.
The Italian tenor, known for his classical performances, had just visited the White House on Friday, performing “Con Te Partirò / Time to Say Goodbye” in the Oval Office.

Margo Martin, the president’s special assistant, posted footage of Bocelli’s performance, showing Trump and staff standing as the singer’s powerful voice filled the room.
Later clips showed the president chatting with Bocelli beside the Resolute Desk as recorded music continued to play.
Trump told reporters that Bocelli would return to perform again later this year.

“He’s coming December 5th to perform at the White House for some of the people,” the president said.
“If the cabinet members are good, if they’re doing a good job, we’ll let them come along with some others, right? We’re gonna have a good time.”
The administration kept the trolling going throughout the weekend, using social media to mock both protesters and Democrats.
We realized everyone over at Bluesky probably wasn't seeing our content.
So we decided to fix that.

Several government agencies announced they were joining Bluesky, a platform often associated with leftist activists, in a move widely viewed as political satire.
The White House’s new Bluesky account kicked off with a “Daddy’s Home” compilation video titled “Greatest Hits,” featuring clips of Trump declaring, “My fellow Americans, our movement is far from over, in fact, our fight has only just begun.”
🔥 BREAKING: The Trump White House just JOINED Blusky and absolutely TROLLED every leftist on the platform – Hakeem is wearing the sombrero again and President Trump is wearing a crown 🤣

The montage included a shot of former President Joe Biden’s autopen signature framed in the White House and a meme showing House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero next to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
“What’s up, Bluesky?” the White House wrote in its post. “We thought you might’ve missed some of our greatest hits, so we put this together for you. Can’t wait to spend more quality time together!”
The Department of War joined in the mockery, announcing its presence on the app with a bold statement.

“THE MOST POWERFUL MILITARY IN THE WORLD IS NOW ON BLUESKY,” the agency posted.
“Hey @schumer.senate.gov — maybe it’s time you thank PRESIDENT TRUMP and SECRETARY OF WAR PETE HEGSETH for making sure EVERY military kid still has health care during your Democrat Shutdown.”
The Department of State followed suit with its own sarcastic highly introduction.
“Hello, Bluesky! We heard this is a great place to have an open and honest dialogue, so we’re here to talk about how the Democrat shutdown is undermining our country on the world stage.”
