Former California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger thinks that former President Donald Trump is going to hand the 2024 presidential election to the Democrats by running.

“Being a frontrunner of one party and letting them dig this hole deeper and deeper is going to make it easy for the Democrats to win,” he told CNN in an interview last week.

“It’s sad to see that. That they couldn’t come up with a new talent, with a new face that is a reasonable, smart, intelligent person that can lead this country in a Republican way.”

The “Terminator” star told CNN’s Dana Bash that Trump doesn’t have a shot at retaking the White House because of his actions during the 2020 election.

“He is going to go, maybe get the Republican nomination,” Schwarzenegger predicted.
“Then, when it comes down to the actual election, there is too many people now that have seen what he did, as President, that I think when it comes to the majority, on Election Day, I think they will see the difference, between one or the other.”
“And believe me, I’m not the first one, to say, ‘Hey, this is really great to have Biden back as president,’” he added. “But there’s just no better options here the way this looks right now.”
He also blasted mainstream media for their coverage of the January 6th Capitol riot, accusing them being more interested in targeting conservatives than discussing why it happened.
“The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the insurrection was that this is very dangerous,” Schwarzenegger detailed.
“It is a wake-up call to let people know you have to take this seriously. Not just like — let’s get those right-wingers, put them in jail. No. This is much more than that. What creates something like that?” He questioned.
“And sadly, I have to say, no one really has covered it well — the insurrection. Because they only said what they did was wrong,” the “Predator” star lamented.
“And they have to go to jail, and we have to punish them and all this stuff. But no one really has gotten into why it was this way.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger addresses his father being a Nazi: “My father was, and so many other millions of men were, sucked into a hate system through lies and deceit. And so, we have seen where that leads.” pic.twitter.com/wIzqUMR1AC

During his “State of the Union” interview, he also acknowledged that his father fought for the Nazi’s in WWII.
“None of it was ever spoken about when I grew up,” Schwarzenegger stated. “There was no one that ever talked about the war. I learned everything about the history in America.”
When he dug into his father’s past in 1990, he found out that he was a soldier during, but was not personally responsible for any of the atrocities carried out during the war.
“My father was like so many other millions of men who were sucked into a hate system through lies and deceits,” he learned.
“And so we have seen where that leads. I mean, let’s just go and get along. And love is more powerful than hate.”
Schwarzenegger and former “Twins” costar Danny DeVito reunited at the 2023 White House Correspondents’ Dinner in a prerecorded message thanking the press, while they fed his pet donkey and pony crackers.

“I’m very proud of all of you. And it’s not just me and it’s also Lulu and Whisky and my twin brother Danny DeVito, we’re all proud of you,” he said on Saturday.

“I come over here and I’m going to get bit by a horse. That’s the finger, ouch!” DeVito joked.

At the same event, “Lip Sync Battle” co-host Chrissy Teigen was blasted for having three assistants carry the train of her dress, as she and husband John Legend walked passed a climate protest.

“Far-left model Chrissy Teigen walking to the White House correspondents dinner with her servants trailing behind her to hold her dress,” criticized conservative commentator Collin Rugg. “This is what peak liberalism looks like.”

“These people are more important than you,” mocked journalist Ian Miles Cheong. “You’ll have to carry their dress for for them, peasant.”
