Megyn Kelly took aim at First Lady Jill Biden, calling her a self-promotional “power-hungry aspirant” who is trying to run a “shadow presidency” by propping up her obviously “infirm” husband.
Kelly made the remarks on the latest episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” stating, “I think she’s been exposed as a power-hungry aspirant herself to political power.”
Jill Biden is perceived as a significant figure within the president’s inner circle, who along with stepson Hunter Biden, has reportedly encouraged her husband to stay in the race, despite a chorus of calls for him to quit.
Kelly, a former Fox News host turned SiriusXM podcaster, cited a June 2021 photo where the first lady posted an image of herself at a desk with the caption, “Prepping for the G7.”

“She’s not the damn president. Get out of the chair,” Kelly told Morgan. “No one wants you at the G7. No one elected you to lead us politically.”
Kelly also remembered the backlash she received after criticizing the first lady for insisting on being addressed as “doctor” due to her Doctor of Education degree.
Kelly labeled Biden’s doctorate a “fake title” after an announcer at the 2023 NFC Championship game introduced the first lady.
Announcers for this Eagles-49ers game just spotted the First Lady in a box and of course call her “Dr. Jill Biden.” Wonder if she realizes what a wannabe she looks like insisting on this fake title. Get a real MD or just work on your self-esteem.

She tweeted, “Announcers for this Eagles-49ers game just spotted the First Lady in a box and of course call her ‘Dr. Jill Biden.’”
“Wonder if she realizes what a wannabe she looks like insisting on this fake title. Get a real MD or just work on your self-esteem,” the podcaster quipped at the time.
“All these left-wingers got upset with me,” Kelly told Morgan. “Why does she insist on it? Because she’s power hungry. Because she has a small, fractured ego that she needs built up.”
“The only people who get to be called doctor, legitimately, I understand, no disparaging of the degree, are medical doctors,” she continued.
“If you can’t say: ‘Yes, I will resuscitate him when he has a heart attack on a plane’, stop using that label when you get introduced at a book club or on The View,” Kelly stated conclusively on the subject.
Kelly compared video of Dr. Jill helping the president off the debate stage to how a “mama” would escort a “toddler.”
After the disastrous debate, Jill reportedly told the president, “Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question! You knew all the facts!”
Kelly remarked that the first lady’s comments were “the way I speak to my dog when he sits on command.”
She added, “This is the leader of the free world. She knows how infirm he is. She wants a shadow presidency.”
Kelly was also irritated when Jill Biden appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine this week, a spot that Melania Trump, a former model who once had a billboard ad in Times Square, was never given.
“Even today she’s on the cover of Vogue. Now she got the Vogue treatment, something they never did for Melania Trump, a literal supermodel,” Kelly stated.
She contested the messaging on the magazine’s cover, which read “We will decide our future.”

“As she parades herself out there, as I guess, some sort of a fashion model,” Kelly said before once again referencing the first lady’s G7 tweet. “The problem is that all of the Democrats’ hopes come down to what this woman wants.”
Kelly likened the first lady’s behavior to other first ladies and compared her to a “grifter,” similar to Hillary Clinton.
“Jill Biden turns out to be a bit of a grifter. She’s power hungry. She’s like a Hillary Clinton. She’s not a Laura Bush. She’s not a Melania Trump,” Kelly declared.
She asserted that Joe Biden’s wife was “not somebody who’s just there to support her husband.”
“She seems to me like somebody who is out for her own power and can’t let go,” Kelly noted.
In the accompanying Vogue article, Dr. Jill asserted that she wouldn’t “let those 90 minutes” of her husband’s atrocious debate performance characterize the administration as a whole.
“We will continue to fight,” she told the interviewer. “[Joe Biden] will always do what’s best for the country.”
On Friday, the president said that doing his best for the country was refusing to drop out of the election.
“I’m the nominee,” he insisted. “I’m running and going to win again,” though he apparently doesn’t know what year he’s running in.
“There’s been a lot of speculation: What’s Joe going to do? Is he going to stay in the race? Is he going to drop out?” he said during a rally in Madison Wisconsin.
“Here’s my answer: I’m running and going to win again,” he added. “I’m the nominee of the Democratic Party, you voted for me to be your nominee—no one else.”
But during his speech, Biden made a critical gaffe that likely caused Democrats to face-palm.
“Some folks don’t seem to care who you voted for. Guess what? They are trying to push me out of the race. Let me say this as clearly as I can: I’m staying in the race,” he stated.
“I will beat Donald Trump,” Biden asserted. “I will beat him again in 2020.”
The verbal error came a day after the president described himself as “first black woman to serve with a black president” in a radio interview on Thursday.
“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, to serve with a black president,” Biden remarked.
