Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa talked up Jim Caviezel’s anti-child trafficking thriller “Sound of Freedom” to reporters on Wednesday.

During a post practice interview, a journalist asked what kind of “role” he plays in getting his teammates to bond outside of the huddle, and the Dolphins star shared a story about what the team does when they hang out off the field.

“We had an off day yesterday coming here. Went to dinner with the guys on Monday. And then we also got to go watch a movie yesterday, so it was cool,” he answered.

“It was like a movie fest yesterday. Just movie hopping. Watched ‘Oppenheimer,’ that was pretty good. Freaking long. That’s a long movie, oh my gosh.”

The other film they caught was “Sound of Freedom,” which stars “Passion of the Christ” actor Jim Caviezel as a man that rescues children from a human trafficking operation in Columbia, and is loosely based on a true story.

“‘Sound of Freedom’ is good. Yeah, ‘Sound of Freedom’ is definitely really good,” Tagovailoa recommended. “You guys should watch that. Especially you guys with kids.”

The film has been blasted by the liberal media for as “a vehicle for conspiracy theories and misleading depictions of human trafficking,” and being “marketed to QAnon believers.

Caviezel has also been under fire for promoting a QAnon theory, which NPR called a “baseless claim,” that “an international cabal of elites is abusing and killing children to extract a substance called adrenochrome.”

During an interview on Steve Bannon’s podcast, Caviezel said that “the whole adrenochrome empire” is fueling child trafficking,

While promoting the film, he said adrenochrome is “an elite drug that they’ve used for many years,” that “has some mystical qualities as far as making you look younger,” and is “10 times more potent than heroin.”

Despite the negative attention from main stream media, “Sound of Freedom” has been crushing it in the domestic box office, earning $174 million since it’s release on the Fourth of July.

The film, which had it’s $5 million marketing campaign funded by crowd sourcing, has out earned “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” at $172.9 million and “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” with $160.8 million, according to Deadline.

Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow recently launched the Unknown campaign to battle against human trafficking, which he said is “one of the faster-growing businesses in the world.”

“Our heart is to try to combat it any and every way possible to be able to be on the front lines to push back this evil,” he told Outkick.

“Our biggest heart right now is with this Unknown campaign, because in one of the law enforcement databases, there is at least 50,000 boys and girls that have been abused in such severe ways, and also, nobody has been able to identify or locate them.”

He said that the inability to identify or locate the child victims is the reason behind the Unknown campaign’s name.

“We just believe that every single life is worth us doing everything possible to be able to get to them, because we know that they’re not unknown to God,” Tebow remarked.

“They are known to God, and they better be known to us. We better be willing to do everything and anything we can to get to all these precious lives.”

He also noted that child trafficking is prominent in the United States, despite being a first world country.

“Some of the different campaigns and videos that we’ve actually shot, we’ve done it in neighborhoods that have been really nice, because we wanted to say, ‘Look, in this neighborhood, in this area, it’s been right here.’”

“And you know, because sometimes people have to open their eyes,” he continued. “This isn’t just something that’s taking place in a third world country. It is taking place in those third world countries, but it is also taking place right here in America.”
