President Donald Trump weighed on the potential cancellation of longtime radio shock jock Howard Stern’s show.
According to The Sun, Stern’s SiriusXM program is set to conclude when his current $500 million contract expires.
A source told the outlet that “Sirius and Stern are never going to meet on the money he is going to want. It’s no longer worth the investment.”
They added that, “If Sirius isn’t going to give Stern a good offer, I don’t think it would have anything to do with his ratings,” the source claimed. “It’s more likely everything to do with the political climate.”

While no official termination has taken place, Trump was happy to speculate during an Oval Office conversation with reporters on Wednesday.
“Howard Stern is a name I haven’t heard – I used to do his show, we used to have fun – but I haven’t heard that name in a long time,” Trump remarked. “What happened, he got terminated?”
The president then pointed to a moment he believes derailed Stern’s popularity.
I wonder why Howard Stern got cancelled?
Maybe it started when he said he hates people that voted for Trump?!

“You know when he went down? When he endorsed Hillary Clinton, he lost his audience,” he continued. “People said, ‘Give me a break.’ He went down when he endorsed Hillary Clinton.”
Trump also noted that Stern welcomed his 2024 opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, to the program last year.

Trump had previously appeared as a guest often on his one time friend’s show, until politics apparently destroyed their relationship.
“Whenever you put him on the air, and this was before he was running for president, he was an open book, he would say anything. This is why he was so great, there was no filter,” Stern said in a 2019 interview.
“I did not vote for Donald Trump,” he continued. “I wanted to see Hillary Clinton win. The way I helped Donald was I let him come on and be a personality. Whether you liked him or not, people related to him as a human being. I wanted to do that for Hillary.”
During his chat with reporters, the president also took aim at CBS’s “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” which is slated to wrap up in May.
When Real America’s Voice reporter Brian Glenn asked whether the entertainment industry’s “hate Trump” approach was collapsing because the public had grown tired of it, Trump was quick to go on the offensive.
“Well, it hasn’t worked. And it hasn’t worked, really, for a long time, and I would say pretty much from the beginning,” Trump said.
“Colbert has no talent. I mean, I could take anybody here,” he noted. “I could go outside to the beautiful streets and pick a couple of people that do just as well or better. They’d get higher ratings than he did. He’s got no talent.”

Trump went on to attack other liberal late night hosts that have spent years ridiculing him.
“Fallon has no talent. Kimmel has no talent. They’re next,” Trump added, claiming he’d heard those shows could be on the way out too.
The president also speculated, “I don’t know, but I would imagine because they’d get— you know, Colbert has better ratings than Kimmel or Fallon.”
The president didn’t have criticism for everybody, he was quick to heap praise on actress Sydney Sweeney.
Speaking to reporters Sunday on the tarmac at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Pennsylvania, Trump reacted to learning the “Euphoria” star is reportedly a Republican.
“She’s a registered Republican?” he said with noticeable interest. “You’d be surprised at how many people are Republican.
🚨 LMAO! President Trump’s reaction to Sydney Sweeney being a registered Republican is GOLDEN

“That’s one I wouldn’t have known, but I’m glad you told me that,” he continued.
“If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.”
Trump later posted about her on Truth Social, sharing a rooftop meme from the White House’s account with the caption: “Have you seen the Sydney Sweeney ad?”

He followed with more direct praise online: “Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves.’ Go get ’em Sydney!”
The post quickly coincided with a bump in American Eagle’s stock price, coming just over a week after the retailer announced Sweeney would headline its fall campaign under the tagline: “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”
While praising Sweeney’s marketing work, Trump took aim at brands he believes have been damaged by progressive-leaning campaigns.
“On the other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid, and seriously WOKE advertisement, THAT IS A TOTAL DISASTER! The CEO just resigned in disgrace, and the company is in absolute turmoil. Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that disgraceful ad,” he wrote.

“Shouldn’t they have learned a lesson from Bud Lite, which went Woke and essentially destroyed, in a short campaign, the Company,” he noted.
“The market cap destruction has been unprecedented, with BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SO FOOLISHLY LOST.”
The president also revisited his ongoing feud with pop icon Taylor Swift during the post.
“Or just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!),” he wrote.

“She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT. The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be.”
Sweeney’s political leanings have drawn intense reactions from the left, with some critics labeling her American Eagle campaign “Nazi propaganda” in an effort to spark a boycott.
The controversy reached The Five on Fox News Monday, where host Jesse Watters cracked that the situation could lead to a historic political pairing.

Highlighting what he saw as another “culture war” defeat for Democrats, Watters joked, “Every girl wants to look like her, and every guy wants to look at her. And the Democrats think, ‘Wait a second, why don’t we call her a Nazi and boycott the company?’”
He then teased that the actress might one day marry Barron Trump, the president’s 19-year-old son.
“You know how this ends? She is going to marry Barron. And it’s going to create the greatest political dynasty in American history,” Watters quipped, drawing laughter from his co-hosts.
