As s*x toys continue being thrown onto WNBA courts, Riley Gaines suggested that President Donald Trump might be the person to end the ongoing chaos.
The WNBA seems to be increasingly powerless to halt the bizarre and troubling trend.
On Thursday evening, two more incidents unfolded during the Atlanta Dream’s game against the Chicago Sky.
One s*x toy reportedly landed near the Dream bench while another was hurled onto the court.

Gaines, known for her vocal opposition to transgender athletes competing in women’s sports, weighed in by drawing a comparison to Trump’s immigration policies.
Speaking on her OutKick podcast, Gaines highlighted recent Trump administration data showing zero illegal border crossings over the past three months.
“Major, major numbers from the Trump administration reporting that the past three months, there have been zero immigrants to cross the border illegally, which is fantastic news,” she said.

“Looking at these headlines and the WNBA, there have been more green d**dos thrown on the court at WNBA games than there have been illegal crossings at the border in the past three months,” Gaines added.
She reposted her comments on X and remarked, “Insane but 100% fantastic statistics.”
Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. joked that his father himself was behind the s*x toy tossing.
The meme he shared displayed the president tossing a bright green d**do off the roof of the White House as women play basketball on a court below.
“Posted without further comment,” Trump Jr. wrote alongside laughing emojis.

Meanwhile, frustration is mounting within women’s basketball circles over the persistent harassment.
Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve spoke out about the incidents, insisting those responsible must be held accountable.
“I just want to comment on… this has been going on for centuries. The sexualization of women, this is the latest version of that. It’s not funny,” Reeve told reporters.
“It should not be a butt of jokes on any radio show, or in print, or in any comments,” she continued.

Reeve said that sexualizing women is “used” to hold them down. “This is just the latest story, and we should write about it in that way,” she remarked.
“These people that are doing this should be held accountable. We’re not the butt of the joke. They’re the problem, and we need to take action.”
Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham experienced the disturbing trend firsthand when one of the flying s*x toys hit her during the second quarter of Tuesday’s 100-91 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks.
In an ironic twist, Cunningham had urged fans just days earlier to stop tossing these objects during games.

In a post from August 1 on X, she pleaded, “stop throwing d**dos on the court… you’re going to hurt one of us.”
After being struck, Cunningham responded with humor mixed with frustration. “This did NOT age well,” she wrote.
She also posted an Instagram story after the game, captioned: “No way that thing actually hit me. I knew I shouldn’t have tweeted that.”

Hours earlier, Cunningham addressed the s*x toy tossing on her podcast “Show Me Something.”
“I was thinking about like, if someone threw that thing and like, first of all, the bounce that that thing had, if that smacks someone in the face, you know that’s gonna be plastered everywhere,” she said.
“I just know how things go viral now. And I just know that thing like, even came from like the rafters or bounced and just slapped me right in the face. That would be what I’d be known for, for life. So I was just trying to protect all of our images.”
Cunningham also shared the text warnings she regularly receives from family before games.
“Funny thing is like my parents and my sister, they literally text me after or before every single game, saying, ‘Good luck,’” Cunningham said.
“I’ll send it so everyone can see this. But my mom goes, instead of like my good luck text, she goes, ‘Watch out for flying (s*x toys) tonight.’ And then the other one said, ‘Did you really just post the (s*x toy) tweet?’ It got some legs.”
Cryptocurrency traders have claimed responsibility for these shocking disruptions, which have resulted in arrests.

Another arrest followed on Tuesday after an 18-year-old named Kaden Lopez was taken into custody for allegedly throwing a s*x toy during the Mercury versus Connecticut Sun game.
Though the object didn’t make it onto the court, it reportedly struck an adult male fan attending with his nine-year-old niece.
Video captured the moment Lopez threw the green d**do. An arena volunteer tackled Lopez before police detained him.

He had reportedly purchased the s*x toy just one day before the game.
The man who was hit has requested prosecution, according to court documents.
